I had a bit over half a day to lay over in Hong Kong's OLD airport back in 1995. Yeah, it was a little crowded, but still far better organized than anything in NYC.

Since the connecting airline had my luggage, I took a bus into town and thoroughly enjoyed walking around for about four hours.

I'm not sure I could say the same about NYC, LA or any of our major cities. And it has less to do with the third world airports than the third world class of people we have in the big cities of this country, both imported and homegrown.

The Vice President believes that the Government is not spending enough money on infrastructure projects like airports, bridges and highways.

These largely benefit his democrat buddies.

At one time in history, a modern airport was likely in USA.
But after a certain WashingtonDC administration took 6 or 7 TRILLION of our tax dollars and magically caused them to disappear into thin air.....when they were supposedly going to be spent on “shovel ready public infrastructure projects” like, say, new modern airports...

after that Grand Theft,
we are stuck with what we have.

The hell of it is, blindfold any of us and take us less than a mile from where the POTUS sleeps and we’d swear we were in a third world country, thanks to Democrats and their entitlement culture.

Perhaps the time will come when a concerned and informed citizenry will dominate our political landscape. That time is not now. Instead of responsibility we have patronage. In place of a work ethic we have a welfare mentality. Rather than strengthening the family we celebrate sexual deviance and abortion.
This is not an age of enlightenment. It is a age of circuses and parties. We are doped up, sexed up and fed up with not getting enough of everything. This is not the culture that will save our nation. It is the one that is losing it.

"The Vice President believes that the Government is not spending enough money on infrastructure projects like airports, bridges and highways. "

This is poppycock. The rats have been claiming for years that "our infrastructure is crumbling". This is code for "it's time for a giveaway to my union buddies".
