For Democrats, 2016 is the year they hope to shatter the nation's highest and toughest glass ceiling. But so far, the party's self-declared glass ceiling cracker has the party's other women waiting on her.
While Hillary Clinton makes up her mind about whether to make another White House bid, other Democratic women with presidential ambitions aggressively insist they're not running this time around. They've signed a letter encouraging Clinton to jump in. They've gone to early nominating states to tout her candidacy while sometimes turning down their own invitations to those same states for fear of sending signals that they're eyeing a bid.
The result, some operatives privately say, is that Democratic women not named Hillary are falling further behind in the so-called "invisible primary" potentially forsaking an opportunity to develop a national profile, build a fundraising network, hire key strategists, make high-visibility media appearances, and establish beachheads in early voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire, moves that could help in 2016 and in future election cycles.

NOW WITNESS THE WOMAN LOCK-STEPPING DEMS WANT AS PRESIDENT Her husband was getting lubed by an intern---and Hillary was stoking her political ambitions by helping to cover-up Bill's predatory activities in the Oval Office.
Hillary took refuge on broadcast TV, doing her "Virgin Mary" act (decked out w/ ropes of virginal pearls) telling Matt Lauer that a "vast-right wing conspiracy" was vilifying her husband.

The Gospel According to Paul
Maureen Dowd OP-ED
EXCERPT With the passage of time and a cascade of fawning magazine covers, (the impeached) Bill Clintons image has evolved, leaving the repellent sexual scandals a pentimento in a new, more magnetic portrait.
Now Paul Rand, the 51-year-old Kentucky ophthalmologist-turned-senator has only been in Congress for three years. But Paul took dead aim at the former president, arguing that Bills legacy is brutified by Monica, when Bill wants his legacy to be ratified by Hillary.
Unruffled by the kerfuffle, Paul reiterated to me that he disdains the Democratic hypocrisy within the party that wants to blame Republicans for somehow not liking women, that somehow were this party that has some kind of war going on, and they have as a leader and one of the most prominent fund-raising people in their party still to this very day, a person who seems in some ways to have his own private war on women.
Paul aimed an asteroid at Planet Hillary on Meet the Press. David Gregory asked Paul about the comment of his wife, Kelley, in a Jason Horowitz profile of the senator in Vogue, that Bill Clinton should not be First Spouse, given his predatory behavior with Monica Lewinsky.
Paul backed up his wife, telling Gregory that there is no excuse for preying on a young intern and that it should affect historys view of the ex-president. While he said it was not Hillarys fault, he added that with the Clintons, sometimes its hard to separate one from the other.
On Fox News, after the State of the Union, Paul injected the word violence into the political bloodstream, noting that the Democratic standard-bearer seems to be a guy that was committing the workplace kind of violence that we should all be opposed to.
Chelsea must know something----she said recently that her mother needs to rest, not run. In a recent TV news clip---it appeared Billy was supporting a weak Hillary---helping her walk and sit.
MEOW Some people say she's a drunk.....prolly used alcohol to get some shuteye on her interminable global trotting as SOS.

Whoever comes after Obama will have hell to pay....too much splainin to do......even Obama is campaigning against his record. Now, more than ever, the electorate is focused on the blunders of Obamacare........ which preceded Hillarycare.
INCONVENIENT FACTOID In fact, it was Hillary Clinton who originally used the wonderfully reassuring if you like your plan, you can keep your plan.
NOTE Hillary's 2007 campaign website was unearthed by America Rising. America's Rising found written on the website under "HILLARYCARE"---AKA Hillarys American Health Choices Plan---the phrase: if you have a plan you like, you keep it.
VIDEO of Hillary saying, "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan." Nice entertainment for union meetings.

See a smiling Hillary (above) in 2007, saying: You can keep the doctors you know and trust. You keep the insurance you have. If you have private insurance you like, nothing changes, you can keep that insurance.

A BUMPY ROAD AHEAD The 2016 Clinton camp has been distancing itself from Obamacare as the problems associated with the botched govt healthcare plan hits home to a not-amused American electorate.
With 2016 in mind, Bill Clinton called on Obama to "honor the commitment he made" that people should be able to keep their health care plans.
A top Clinton aide, John Podesta, then took to twitter suggesting a single-payer health care system as an alternative to Obamacare....just a coincidence that Podesta has just been hired by Obama.

Tevi Troy, Hudson Institute resident scholar's remarkable prophecy a year and a half before the USSC's decision, after Nov 2010 midterms, in which Democrats in Congress and in state legislatures suffered huge losses.....due to O/Care. In Commentary magazine, Troy wrote: "The Pyrrhic victory Democrats secured for themselves [when Obama signed ACA into law] may prove not to have been a victory at all but rather an ever-roiling, ongoing, and recurring act of political and ideological self-destruction."
Amen.
If there are going to be pictures on this thread I am hoping for less Hillary and more bust.
other Democratic women with presidential ambitions
Oh really? who?
Cute.
Is that Wendy?
I wouldn’t think she had a chance in hell,
but then I didn’t think Obama did either.
With the Dems pushing big time for Hillary, that tells me they have no bench. IOW, they’re not going very far.
Hillary. 900 FBI files. DISQUALIFIED.
Which was preceded by Hillarycare?
“other Democratic women with presidential ambitions aggressively insist they’re not running this time around. They’ve signed a letter encouraging Clinton to jump in. Yeah, it’d be unfortunate to take on Thunder Thighs only to be treated to a permanent dirt nap in Fort Marcy Park.
At some point America will have a female president. Hopefully it’s not the Great Enabler.
I think it’s Lizzie Warren’s to take, assuming she can get Axlegrease, Gibbs, and Plouffy on board.
So far it doesn’t seem to be happening.
The Dems have painted themselves into a corner with Hillary. She’s old, she’s sick, she’s got tons of baggage (Benghazi is only the latest of her numerous scandals), and her husband is a national embarrassment who can’t control his libido. And in her most recent photos she looks like somebody who has suffered a stroke. But they’re stuck with her, because the media has convinced the Democrat base that she is their only option. So a lot of them, particularly the younger ones, will say to hell with it and stay home on election day. Watch and see.
I’m not as convinced as you are.
Hillary was a lock in Dec 2007 too.
Then some guy from Kenya by way of Chicago snuck in and stole the kishka.
Until the Chicago Mob is fully on board with the Clinton Crime Family, I’m not sure she’s the one.
They’ve signed a letter encouraging Clinton to jump in.
***
Well, I would like to encourage the cracker to just jump.
Only someone from Indiana would know what a kishka is and that it could be stolen.
