The media is THRILLED that someone who practices sodomy is going to be on the gridiron. Aren't you?

Is he a third rate player?
This is a sure way to prevent him from being cut.

Let’s say you run a hotdog vending business. Somebody whose major agenda is preaching communism or religion approaches you for a job selling hotdogs. Do you hire somebody who is going to practice his other agenda while selling your hotdogs and representing you on the street?

How is one “on the path” to be first gay whatever??

He’s put in the hours, and passed the exam - now he’s waiting for some kind of certificate?

Does a team really want to draft a player that will be almost impossible to cut if he doesn’t measure up? Any team who drafts and cuts this guy will be villified in the media non-stop and it would be a complete disruptive media circus? Is any mid round defensive player worth that?

Oh yawn. Keep the emotional issues in the closet. Nobody cares. Why does everything have to evolve around what you do with your parts? Just shut up and play.

Since on defense he can’t even be a wide receiver somewhere else.

Is he a third rate player?

He'd a decent lineman but not a first rounder. More like third round.

A University of Missouri star projected to be drafted into the NFL looks set to become the first publicly gay pro football player.

I hope that the football heath and life insurance folks are taking a look at the potential liabilities and costs of increased risk of AIDs, STDs, mental health issues, due to the likely exchange of blood on the football field, and dealing with a violent homosexual.

They just have to increase the cost of tickets to cover the increased liability costs, and eventually, the actual costs of lawsuits, and related damages, not to mention to account for the possible loss of revenue and patronage.

I predict he’ll be drafted as a tight end, but finish his career as a wide receiver.

Media will project him as an early 1st round pick. When or if he is drafted later or not at all, it will be a huge story of how the NFL is not a home for homosexuals.

And what utter nonsense to call a homosexual courageous for saying he is "gay."

No they won't.

It's not a great year for defensive ends so I expect he'll go in third round, maybe fourth. Could be high second if a team is desperate enough.

So he can use the fact other teams used anti gay speech on the line up to excuse when he fouls up.
The Steelers had a player who used that excuse but saying they were making remarks about his parents.
