Iranian naval fleets were on their way across the Atlantic Ocean and headed toward the US, the Fars news agency reported on Saturday.
“Iran’s military fleet is approaching the United States’ maritime borders, and this move has a message,” Adm. Afshin Rezayee Haddad of Iran’s Northern Navy Fleet was quoted as saying.

By instigating a confrontation that will assuredly result in the annihilation of their country and way of life, with a very good chance of starting a world war in the process?
As mad as the Mullahs are, I don’t believe they’re that stupid, but one can never discount that possibility.
The odds are still on the side of sanity at this time, IMO.
If they nuke DC would that be a new July 4th? I think so.
It is assuredly difficult to see how events would play out in such a scenario, but I sincerely doubt Iran would simply “get away with it” no matter how much of a coward we believe Obama to be.
On the contrary, Obama may crave such a conflict that he could use to install himself for life, and although that would be a stretch, it's just as likely as believing Iran would instigate said conflict in the first place.

I dunno, use an AWACS to shut down their ECMs, and then send in four F-18’s 50 feet off the deck to blast them with a payload of thousands of Mohammed cartoons...
If they nuke DC and I die, then it is what it is. God bless the millions of righteous good people still living in the greatest country ever. I pray that in the end, Obama will be a big lesson learned that will serve to guide future generations towards the awesome framework created by our founding fathers.

And why do we have 5 of our aircraft carriers tied up side-by-side in Norfolk? To provide a target for a nuke attack?
Lets just pose a hypothetical... suppose a couple of good old boys were to load up their bass boats and their ground hog rifles and go pay the mighty fleet a visit, just a friendly visit in which they pointed out the foolishness in that plan....Just suppose..

2. Millions of sea lions hauling out on top of their vessels.
3. An "accidental" discharge while a U.S. Navy vessel is cleaning its torpedo tubes
