Yep, Letterman is nothing but a creep and he is NOT funny. He’s mean.
He wasn't too happy when Leno got Carson's slot, and it must have burned him that Leno got exposed as routine guest on his (Lettermans’) own show.
So NBC got to see them with competing monologs on the same shows to make a comparison, as did the audience.
