“Can’t these kids go two or three hours without drinking something?”

It’s not the liquid. It’s the sugar. They’re addicted to it. And everyone of then will have Type 2 Diabetes by age 40. By 50 they’ll all have heart disease and probably NASH.

I don't blame the colleges. Colleges are businesses which generate revenue by getting living bodies into the classroom. The majority of high school graduates are too stupid to learn, so colleges invent bogus classes and degrees that a monkey could pass.

I blame the parents. They've been indoctrinated with the idea that their children are little gods. Their (the parent's) task is to make their little darlings feel special. Spoiled. Entitled.

Back when America was great, children were brought up to feel ordinary. They had responsibility. They had chores. They had to perform, especially in school.

Now children are brought up to feel special. And when a person feels he's "special", he expects "special" treatment.

Lower sugar intake and EXERCISE would prevent SO many health problems. We all want to live long lives that have QUALITY and a minimum of health problems. Sure, a lot is genetic but we can sure eat BETTER and MOVE MORE [more than the wrist in changing channels.:o)]
