Chris Christie is coming to Texas to raise some money and its not a bridge he wants to sell you. The embattled New Jersey governor is head of the Republican Governors Association, so his trip to Texas is part of a nationwide effort to raise money for fellow GOP governors as well as to show party leaders hes still a viable political figure for the future.
-snip-
Likely GOP gubernatorial nominee Greg Abbott will not join Christie. An aide said Abbott will be in Houston as part of a statewide series of appearances on immigration. The RGA was a major donor to Gov. Rick Perry when he ran for reelection. Perry spokesman Rich Parsons said the governor also would not be attending.

Not THIS Gov, thanks.
He’s too close to Chicago for me.
Will he meet and hug Wendy Davis while he’s lumbering through my beloved Texas?
Don’t come to Denton, we ran out of food last night.
Texas conservatives running for office do not need Christie’s “help.” Anything he would do to “help” would be used against them in campaign ads later.
Why in the world did the GOP governors elect Christie to this position in the first place? They don’t call it “The Stupid Party” for nothing.
If I can’t get donuts on Friday, I’ll have a mutiny on my hands. Christy, please don’t come to north TX.
One of my favorites, actually. Kind of a follow-on piece to the Longest Day.
"A Bridge too Far"
"The Bridge at Remagen"
"The Bridges at Toko-Ri"
"Waterloo Bridge" and of course...the superb
"The Bridge on the River Kwai"
Who in Texas gives a damn about Chris Christie?
At least the CofC in New Braunfels had Ted Cruz as speaker last Friday.
Christie is not welcomed or liked in Texas. Please do not show your fat a$$ in South Texas.
This Christies’ way of trying to get his street creds back....come to Texas and see all the conservatives run away....oh wait...never mind!!!
LOL, good for Rick. Although it might be kind of amusing to see a picture of Perry and Christie standing next to each other, just for contrast.
Love Perry’s statement. “Governers come to Texas all the time. Hope he enjoys his stay.” Translation: Don’t call me, tubby. Enjoy the food. Lol.
Fat boi dead man waddling.
Dammit Janet!
