I’ve been considering a plethora of “identities” I might use when asked about sex/race/gender etc. I have currently decided to identify as a Samoan blind, quadriplegic, hermaphrodite lesbian. I may change my mind at any time and on any form, as now the gubmin’ tells us we can identify as anything we want to be at a particular moment. Has anyone else come up with good ones?

When I was in college, I was in the admissions office behind a kid whose family had immigrated from Egypt. He had checked the "African American" box.

That was about a 20 minute argument between this kid and the admissions lady with me laughing hysterically the entire time.

I worked with a guy born and raised in South Africa, who makes the full Moon on a cloudless night looks rather dark. If he even hears the word, "Sun," he burns.

Now a U.S. citizen, he can and does rightfully call himself an "African American."

As for me, I am descended from Polish and Russian Jews, and my Mexican-born wife is descended from Polish and Rumanian Jews (and she also burns at the mere mention of the Sun)...but our children are listed as "Hispanic" on all applications. Those @ssholes are going to try to divide us all up, and disadvantage my kids for something that they weren't even alive to do (sheesh, NONE of their ancestors were even in the country during slavery), then I can play their twisted game. Phuckers...what the Hell ever happened to being an American first, to acknowledging that while we are different, being American is the one thing that unifies us all???
