one of our biggest weaknesses is that most Americans expect , and hope , that an extended period of peace will be found in the future . I believe there will be war , much more war , and if we do not get in the business of kicking ass and taking names ; utterly destroying those that challenge us , we will lose and America ( as we know it) will fall . No talented business man or slick talking politician will save us , or can effectively lead us . America needs to be led by a warrior , not lawyers . Time to wake up , gird oursleves and be ready to fight . Standing with a real leader .
Such a decision requires a man of high character. Military experience is valuable, in my opinion, but not absolutely necessary.
John McCain is an example of a military man who would've made a rotten president -- especially with regard to the singular issue of war. McCain seems anxious to engage the country in each and every regional conflict. He does not demonstrate the restraint which most military men exhibit on the issue.
McCain is not a man of high character. Most military men, however, are.
