I know that Poppy Bush served in WWII as a flyer, but I don't know what branch he was in. Dubya was in the Texas Air National Guard, which I suppose is akin to the Air Force.
Ike, of course, was Army, as I believe Reagan was.
George Herbert Walker Bush was a Naval aviator in WW2 and flew with combat distinction in the later part of the war , which included getting shot down near Iwo Jima (Chichi-Jima)
and Ronald Reagan served in the U.S Army , although stateside , serving in the 1st Motion Picture Unit , by virtue of his status as a movie personality prior to his service .
G.W. Bush served WITH HONOR in the Texas Air National Guard flying F-102’s or 106’s and serving as interceptor air defense for our southern border ( ie: Cuba) Never deployed to Vietnam , he could have been .
Eisenhower ; well we all know what he did , and some consider what he didn’t do( as our commanding general) ....beating the Krauts to Berlin and setting the stage for the Iron Curtain to so heavily fall .
Jack Kennedy - PT-109 ; he went for that little swin in the Savo Strait . One of the most shark infested straits in the world ....nough said
