During the State of the Union Address on Tuesday, President Barack Obama announced an executive order for federal contractors to pay employees at least $10.10 an hour. He also urged mayors, governors and state legislators to raise wages as well.

The Weekly Standard just published an article detailing how the city is STILL in a depression even after the city seized private property to give to the Big Pharma company Pfizer....which has since FLED the city.
Now the Rat mayor wants to increase costs to the decreasing tax base by raising wages....these people are economic ignoramuses.
Ironic that the mayor’s name is “Finizio”; sounds a lot like “finito”, the Italian word for “finished”.
How generous he's offering to pay all those wages out of his own pocket. Wait, what ?
This is coming from the Mayor who can even afford to keep an adequate number of police officers on the city’s payroll.
I believe the mayor is an idiot.
Now which of us is right?
cannot afford**
Wait ... the mayor wants to pass a law that requires the city to pay municipal employees $10.10 -- why doesn't the city just pay all municipal employees at least $10.10??? (In any case, $10.10 seems awfully low for a civil service employee in the northeast.)
Don’t worry, this time it’s different.
One of the wealthiest states in the Country (in fact number 1 a lot of years) and they only want to raise the minimum wage to 10.10 ..greedy jerks. /sarc.
It’s easy to look good spending other people’s money.
No use trying to reason with a democrat. Their “minds” don’t work like normal peoples minds.
Zippys call to action has prompted the mindless to respond in a positive way
