CIA director: Benghazi rescuers required to sign non-disclosure agreements because contracts
Fox ^ | 2/4/14 | Jennifer Griffin

CIA director John Brennan told a congressional hearing Tuesday that security operators involved in Benghazi rescue efforts were required to re-sign non-disclosure agreements because the documents were being updated.

Brennan was pressed by Rep. Devin Nunes, R.-Calif., of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence about the 2012 Benghazi attack and why the security operators who were involved in rescue efforts that night were asked to re-sign their non-disclosure agreements.

“There were a number of contractors whose contracts were being updated, amended,” Brennan said.“And any time there is an amendment to a contract, there's the requirement for a non-disclosure agreement to be re-signed, which is the case there.

“It was not (inaudible) specifically with any effort to discourage any individual from coming forward to this Congress.

In fact, I actively, explicitly encouraged them to cooperate with this committee and with the Congress.”

That may be a bit of a loose term there. Perhaps they came on the scene hours later after events and saw things their supervisors and Washington staff didn’t want revealed.

Brennan sanitized "Obama's" passport file. Use of The Analysis Corporation and "a subcontractor thereof" provides deniability.

Brennan was "Obama's" first choice as DCI. The Left protested his waterboard sins.

Brennan was CIA chief of station at Riyadh 1996-9. An FBI official said he was converted:

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either [is] a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”

Benghazi was CIA running guns according to policy established by the closet Marxist-Muslim in the White House, his Iran-born handler, his Saudi sponsor, other agencies unknown.

By definition - Islam means "Slave of Allah" - or - "servant" of Allah.

To him, Allah comes first, our American Constitution last.

WTF is he doing as head of the CIA?

Zero out their budget until they testify.

They tried this. But Senate just refused to take single bills. Press blamed Rs.

We need the senate. Then it will be the pres who must veto passed bills.

Rs are not good enough at playing politics in this regard.

But I'm willing to bet that if we do take the senate, plenty budget cutting will happen.

It was more than a breech of Obama’s passport files. The Consular Affairs Database (CCD) was breached. The CCD is a set of databases in DC that holds all current and archived data from all Consular Affairs’ post databases around the world, storing information about U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens.

Why all the secrecy? Because the president was hiding all night, in order not to be put on the spot to grant or deny CBA. No CBA, no rescue from outside Libya.

Hiding like a coward, while Americans were dying, and his ambassador was missing in jihadland.

I think you miss the ultimate implication of Obama’s absentee approach to the Benghazi crisis. In his stead, all of the decisions were made by Valerie Jarret, who is constitutionally ineligible to give such orders.

That is what they are trying to hide the most, in addition to the fact that this was likely to have been led out of Egypt, with the unproven but interesting conjecture that the intent of the attacks was to stage a hostage swap between Ambassador Stevens and the blind sheik in holed up in a US prison.

I've never bought the "exchange" Stevens for the Blind Sheik theory.

That would NOT have made Obama look good. It would have made him look weak and pathetic.

Plus it would be open season on kidnapping MORE ambassadors.

To you and me, perhaps.

But to his base? And the "moderates"? And the media?

I think not.
