A seismometer inside a borehole at Yellowstone National Park has begun reporting staggering underground activity near the southwest corner of Yellowstone Lake, possibly signaling the beginning of an eruption of the Super Volcano at the Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is home to many beauties, with its ancient landscape, geysers, and hot springs. It is also the site of one of the worlds most destructive forces. A supervolcano.

"Anyone here remember the 59 Hebgen Lake quake? I was there." I vividly remember the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake! The night of the earthquake, I was with my family sleeping in a 16-ft. travel trailer parked next to my aunt and uncle's cabin in the national forest less than 150 yards from the south shore of the lake.
Besides the terrifying, violent shaking that literally threw me out of a bunk bed during the quake, I'll never forget the eerie sight we saw at daybreak when we went down to the lake. The entire lake bed had tilted to the north in the night and the new shoreline was almost 200 feet out from my uncle's boat dock!

Don’t know, but in a major event, Yellowstone would make what happened in Japan look like a minor insignificant page 30 incident.

It was quite disconcerting to watch the Mt. St. Helens black clouds roll over us in 1980, and, while not the pyroclastic variety of cloud, was plenty ominous.

“Anyone here remember the 59 Hebgen Lake quake? I was there.”
We were through the area a few weeks before the quake, visiting grandparents and relatives in Cody and Powell, WY.

For those who wish to understand what would befall millions of Americans after a Yellowstone eruption, read about what happened in Martinique in 1902 -- when an eruption of a volcano a tiny fraction of the power of Yellowstone incinerated an entire city and
killed 30,000 people 4 miles away within 90 seconds.

It won’t be long before the Mexican authorities will be calling Americans “wetbacks.” You have to go south to avoid the westerly winds that will choke the central and eastern US with ash.

Can't the Obama Administration just pass a law create a Executive Order against this.

You cited a paper by a Cochise Community College Student.

You know why they call it community college? Because anybody in the community can go. It's like a disco-tech with books. Here's $10, lemme go get my learn on.
