If you’ve never seen the movie, go rent it asap. One of Pacino’s best works.
Excellent movie.
They both believe they are above the law.
NYPD has always been corrupt......... still is...
In a city full of democrats what could go WRONG?...

Definitely. One of Pacino’s best, and I’d say one of the best films of the 1970s. Sidney Lumet was on fire during the period, cranking out masterpiece after masterpiece like most people change their socks.
agreed..great, great movie.
It is a great book as well; a real eye-opener, and a look into how the city was just falling apart...
