any questions?
Absofreakinlootly!!
It’s damned ugly, I DO know that.
That’s just about the worst case of turkey neck I’ve ever seen.
Freaky!
We have at least 18 wild turkeys outside my office, and trust me...their necks are far better looking than hers!
Does this look like fun, or what?

There are many dozens of YT vids showing helo hunting w/ Class III weapons, suppressors; I was up until 2am for the past couple nights watching them. What a hoot!
Land owners are paying room & board for hunters to come down, and sign-up for 3-5 days of hunting. Travel, firearms, ammo and shooter fees are responsibility of hunters.
‘frog: what do you know about organized company helo shoots in TX?
Best I have to compare with that is taping flashlights on our rifles
and going out to the city dump at night to shoot rats.
Definitely on my Bucket List ever since I saw Ted Nugent do it.
Me too. He played it again last year. Had me going at the beginning, thinking it was a call-in or in-studio interview. I wonder if she’s still in exile, or MIA...
I don’t know that much about it, except that it can be expensive!

We used to go a neighboring quarry rim, in the late-50s/early-60s, and shoot rats while they were sunning themselves down below on the rocks. It was quick and ugly, each time, and although the populations would rebound in spring/summer, there was no rat problem in that village. Just a very few smart rats. And the local cats got them.
“ceramic bolt carriers” never heard of them. How are they better?
Just some kind of coating they put on the bolt carrier as far as I know. Supposed to make it more wear resistant, run cooler and resist carbon buildup.
On mine, too. I’ve got a friend in Athens, TX, and have asked him to get some name/numbers so I can get in touch. He’s got 70ac, and takes care of his minor hog problem.
You gonna put Mrs S on the helo’s other gunner door, with an scoped Class III, suppressed, select-fire MP5?
The Heli Hunt pricing info boasted about their ceramic bolt carriers never failing.
Surprised they all aren’t made that way.
Hell no she would do it on a bet. Clint Jr and I would go though.
Looks like a 5 figure hunt :-O
Mixed reviews on Midway
I’m going down late summer/early fall and do it. I called Ben in Athens, and he’s getting info together. When it’s a chopper, first consideration is pilot and company’s accident record; hogs and cost are secondary.

Lots of research to do and calls to make.
Ice storm hitting now; everything’s shiny outside. Staying inside tomorrow morning.
It’s not going to be cheap, but I’m probably only doing this once, so it’s worth it.
Night hunts w/ thermals is a lot less than $950/hr for a chopper.:
