Either Belvin will take out McConnell or Grimes will.
McConnell will then be free to join Trent Lott’s DC lobbying firm.

Sadly, it’s highly likely going to be Reid. However, if I am surprised, I’d love to see Mike Lee.

Writer is whistling past the graveyard. Mc Connell will defeat Bevin handily and win the General going away.

Wow! This sounds a lot like the Denver media a week or so ago.

Thune is right now third in line behind McConnell and Cornyn.

Ted Cruz or Mike Lee.
Cruz will be the nominee for President in 2016 but he can lead the Senate for 2 years in the meantime. His campaign will not detract from his Senate duties because as majority leader he sets the agenda in the Senate and that can be done well ahead of the time when the campaign starts.

It will be Cornyn, and if he loses his primary, then Thune.
So forget about Cruz, Lee or any other. And McCain will pull the chains of Cornyn or Thune.

I love the article, but, I'd like to comment on this portion:
Cornyn faces his own primary, in ONE MONTH. There are several candidates, and it appears that they are hoping to replicate the Cruz victory path
hold Cornyn to under 50%, and then beat him in the run-off. I dont think thats viable, because the circumstances arent the same. Cruz ran for an open seat. Here, Cornyns a sitting senator, part of GOP leadership, and a potential Majority Leader in waiting.
The guy Cruz faced was much more viable than Cornyn. David Dewhurst: 1. Was entrenched in Texas politics for a gazillion years. 2. He had the backing of the Establishment Pubbies, even Gov. Rick Perry. 3. He had a whole crap load of money and name recognition. 4. The people of Texas (and I'm a Texan) don't give a s**t about Cornyn possibly being Majority Leader. So, don't think the Cornyn race is any great mountain to climb than Ted Cruz had; it's not. Defeating Cornyn is very doable.

Given the way the republicrats have been acting lately they’ll probably choose Juan McLame.

I’d like to see Jeff Sessions as majority leader.
