When a nation finds a spy from another country, they kick them out or jail them. It’s one thing to label Republicans as RINOs. It’s about time to label some as Democrat infiltrators who are sabotaging the Republican party.

“Everybody’s trying to figure out, “Why in the world are the Republicans acting suicidal with this amnesty business?”

Simple. Huge wads of cash from the open borders lobby.

They aren’t going to win squat without conservative voters.

Rush is on to something.
The GOP wants to depress Tea Party votes, but not enough for them to
lose the house.

Interesting theory that does make sense.

Why would the RINO Establishment want to win and win big IF that means that they will then be in a position to be held to account for their actions/inactions?

If they can maintain the stauts quo, they get to enjoy all of the perks and privileges of “power” without having the headache of accountability or responsibility.

How many times have we been told that “right now, we don’t have the votes to actually do something about these outrages of the day, but in the NEXT cycle, when WE have control...yada, yada, yada....”

I have a better idea. Let’s replace these spineless cowards with some REAL Patriotic Americans that will actually place the Country above their own personal interests?

I agree.

The hogs do not want the trough moved.

They are being furnished with cash, booze and willing women.

RINO’s want you to send them back. How dare someone care about the constitution.

Our response, sadly, will have to be GO OUT AND VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT in order to PUNISH the cretins who came up with this.

We’ll still be going to Hell, just at a slightly faster pace.

As mentioned in related threads, please consider the following. If patriots can win 2/3 conservative majority control of both Houses of Congress in ‘14, then Congress will be positioned to do the following.

Congress will have the power, under the Constitution’s Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. In other words, Congress will be able to repeal Obamacare without Obama’s signature for example.

I think that the old guard Republicans are afraid that the TEA Party will take over the party and throw them in the street. Which is exactly what we intend to do.

Later, Rush rejects the theory, in favor of Occam’s razor.

“The simple answer is that moneyed Republican donors, as epitomized by the Chamber of Commerce, are demanding it, and money is the mother’s milk of politics.

These donors are saying, “If you want our money — and further, if you want a high-paying job with my trade association when your career is over in Congress — then you’ll give me this.” That’s the simple explanation. They’re simply responding to the money people. But that’s not good enough for some. “It’s got to be more. It can’t be that. They wouldn’t be willing to commit suicide.”

Well, they’re not. The people who are gonna score with high-paying jobs after doing this are not committing suicide. They are, in effect, greasing the skids.”

I see. Let's take our team and go in and plan to win the Super Bowl by one point, no more.

What could possibly go wrong with a great plan like that?

Some people are happy playing for the Washington Generals - they can maintain gainful employment with no pressure to perform well or win and still get to mug for the crowd once in a while.

Theory has too many moving parts. There has never been any intention to have a house vote on amnesty in this Congress.

I couldn’t believe it when I heard Rush say that today. It’s exactly what I’ve been thinking - or close to it. The GOPe doesn’t want a Republican majority in Congress, they’re happy just to win their own seats back. They don’t want to change the status quo, and they think the TEA party is the opponent even more than the Democrats….which they are of course.

The GOP simply do not want to be an engaged opposition party while Obama is in the WH. They would happy take the Senate but don’t expect them to govern in a Conservative manner.

McConnell has already let the cat out of the bag. He has said: “We need to wait until 2016”.
