Congress is supposed to be a co-equal branch of government and a check and a balance on the executive.
Congress also is supposed to exercise the Power of the Purse.

Boner won’t do either.
(Neither will he permit a genuine investigation of just who our current President really is...)

As long as Congress remains impotent or keeps functioning in Transform- Amerika enabler mode..... Obama will indeed keep winning.

Ben are you crazy? The One has CAUSED all of these problems. You are falling for the Limbaugh theorum that poor little Obie is a bystander minding his own business and everyone else is to blame. Yes we would still have big government with Romney but I doubt he’d have a White House full of Marxists.

9/11 and Usama did more than kill nearly 3000 people in the space of two hours, he got a appeasement congress elected in 2006 and a person who talks about his Muslim faith and supports terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and even Al Qaeda in Syria.

And Peggy Noonan is on a wise person, but an imbecile.

My thought is that he’s under contract to file a column, so he phoned this one in without even reading back through it. Very poor work for Ben Shapiro.

Rambling article. Not sure what the point is. We just have to wait until the security / welfare state collapses under its own weight and pick up from whatever is left.

He blames OBL for the stupidity of the American people following the evil tricksters in DC? It is not OBL that used 9/11 as a ruse to invade Iraq, strengthen Iran, terrorise old white people (and young white children) in airports. Ben Stein is part of the problem.

MY thoughts?

Well, Ben Stein called it like it is: it's race.

Well, technically, it's not race per se, but a difference in local, shall I say, "cultural ethical values" between the cities he mentioned.

Cities where the denizens value hard work, integrity, personal freedom, property rights, self-motivation coupled with sensible goals and the rule of law are doing better than those cities where the ethic is envy, poisonous relations with those outside your ethnic group, contempt for common courtesies (which are erroneously perceived as weakness), lack of goals focused on personal improvement through education and training, and dependency.

Each city makes its own bed, then lies in it.

Then, some whine about the bed they've made.

The author is seeing a tiny portion of a worldwide canvas. It’s like the blind men describing the elephant. 9/11 was like a tornado. People who see the tornado alone blame the storm for the damage. The storm is only the manifestation of a huge weather front generally covering many states. One area is hot and less dense. An area the size of Oklahoma is cold and the air is dense. The dense air flows along rivers much larger than the Mississippi towards the less dense air. At the flow’s edge you get vortexes which we see as tornadoes.

The author focused in on one storm and ignored what caused it. The attack on the World Trade center was only one of thousands of attacks, most of which we never heard of. Israel lives with them daily. It’s the same storm system. This attack was particularly successful. But what made it really successful is it targeted a new victim, the USA. (Very few people in the US care one wit about people dieing in other countries. That news is at best 60 seconds between for four car pileup on I-10 and the two-headed calf in Oklahoma.) Another attack several years earlier against the Eiffel Tower was thwarted by a passenger who overheard the hijackers talking about it and told the stewardess. She alerted the pilot and he told them they didn’t have the fuel and he had to land to get more. The pilot alerted the ground and they surrounded the plane so it couldn’t take off. So, 9/11 was simply the first successful mass murder on the news. (Lots of mass murders have happened, but aren’t covered as the two-headed calf preempted them.)

The war in Iraq was an attempt to stop the tornadoes by equalizing the pressure systems. It failed, but it only failed because Barak Obama made us bail on Iraq without a status of forces agreement. If we were still there, chances are Iraq would act as the stabilizing influence Bush wanted.

Invading Iraq without provocation was a horrendous foreign policy decision devised by the neocons for their own self-serving reasons.

You remember the neocons---Bush installed them in the WH---in their own Office of Special Ops where---they connived (using our tax dollars) to get the US to invade Iraq.

Bush actually believed the pukeneos when they said an INVASION would "bring peace" to the Mideast.

============================================

THE BIGGEST WHOPPER OF THEM ALL---Bush estimated the Iraq strike would cost $50-60 billion........then Bush publicly fired his aide, Larry Lindsey, because Lindsey dared to say the war might cost more like $100 billion. That was in 2007 dollars.

Iraq and Afghanistan today total about $3 TRILLION, and we're still pouring money down these rat holes........thanks to the neocons.

Predictably, the war profiteering was huge---the WSJ reported neocon guru is setting up his own oil company in Iraq (your tax dollars at work).

The US left Iraq with not a barrel of oil to our name.....and rivers of young blood spilled on its decrepit soil

===================================================

MOMENTS TO REMEMBER--- On the eve of the US invasion of Iraq, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee heard testimony from Marine Corps Gen Anthony Zinni---and other US military experts ---that the so-called architects (they dared not say "neocon") of the Iraq invasion were totally ill-prepared for a post-combat occupation.

US military experts ridiculed the Bush administration claims that rebuilding could be achieved within two years, that the weapons of mass destruction would be destroyed-------and that a vibrant new political and economic system would emerge.

Over a decade later, Iraq---and the rest of the Mideast----has yet to create a viable political and economic system....a system that is totally incompatible w/ their archaic Islamicist thinking macerated in the vengeful dicta of the Koran.

=====================================================

LAUGH BREAK The pukeneos said the Mideast was "thirsting" for American-style democracy.

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

Same place now known as a terrorist hellhole...

<><> Where trillions of US tax dollars were wasted and rivers of young blood were shed.

<><> Where the blood-thirsty Muslim Brotherhood has a stranglehold.

<><> Where neocon godfather and war profiteer, Richard Perle, is starting an oil company (your tax dollars at work).

It took the US over a decade to get out of Iraq....as the globe erupted into Mideast-centered terrorism.....and hate-filled Muslims set sail for America.

Biblically speaking, God raises up enemies for a reason. Period. What could the world be doing that calls for a continuous threat? What is spreading throughout the world that stokes the wrath of God?

Yes, bush went into Iraq to get revenge for hussein’s murder plot against his daddy. We should have used hussein to block iran... we bought him in the eighties and he was for sale. We should have nuked Afghanistan, destroyed all roads and bridges, nuked tora bora and mined all mountain passes and let it all simmer.

We tried to fight a politically correct war, while infringing on our own liberties at home. Not being a military experct, I won’t propose strategies and tactics that should have been used, but the result should have been a new stone age in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

This guy is a paid columnist? Geeze.

“We are fighting a mental disease of hatred that has taken root and is spreading worldwide.”

Is he referring to Islam as a mental disease? If so, he might be partially correct. Islam has contributed nothing but hatred and violence to everything and everyone it touches. "Taken root?" Like it just happened in the past 20 years? Try CENTURIES. It’s a plague of ignorance and hatred, spread by primitive, evil butchers.

“Obama is doing the best he can, but he is up against the limits of his socialist ideology and his inherent paranoia.”

Obama is doing the best he can? To achieve what? Celebrating and loving what this country has stood for? Or destroying it? Recognizing and defending the Constitution? Or ignoring and trampling on it? Obama paranoid? Please. Further, Obama just happens to be a closet-Muslim, fraud, traitor, and an assortment of other titles. He might think he's doing the "best he can", but he needs to listen to the citizens he is WORKING FOR. He would discover very few agree with his methods.

And exactly what were the “brilliant insights” the woman high-school student offered to this guy?

Osama Is Still Winning: The worst is yet to come.

Only because the lefties in the regime have crafted the rules of engagement to the point that every squad needs a lawyer before they can shoot back.

My rules would be Kill 'em all and let GOD sort 'em out!
