If Tebow had kept winning football games they would care if he was a closet cannibal.

There are two ways to win a football game. One with talent. One with inspiration and determination. It’s safe to say that Tebow did not have an awful lot of talent. You wouldn’t put him in the top twelve quarterbacks of the season....when he was playing. So, what he brought to the table was inspiration...pure and simple. He could drive the entire team to do what had to be done. Most teams, we’d all agree on this....win with talent. Rarely does a team make it to the Super Bowl....with mostly inspiration (very rare). From a team-building mentality....I’d hire for talent, not inspiration.

Tebow took the Broncos to the playoffs, what do you want?

If Tebow had kept winning football games they would care if he was a closet cannibal.

The Broncos got rid of him after he "went 7-4 as a starter in 2011 and won a memorable playoff game over the Pittsburgh Steelers". After that he got picked up, but not played.

Its hard to keep winning games when you aren't on the roster.

Well, if Tebow had gotten a chance to play quarterback, he might have continued winning.

After leading the Broncos into the playoffs and a first round win against the Stillers, Elway promptly shipped him off to NY to the Toe Sucker on the Hudson. It was the outstanding play of Sanchez(think butt-fumble) that kept Tebow on the sidelines for the entire season.

With word being disseminated throughout the NFL that Tebow was persona non gratis, he gets released by the Jets and no other team is willing to give him a shot.

I think that the invite to the Pats training camp was Kraft’s shrewd way of inoculating the Pats from the future suit filed by Tebow against the NFL. Goodell had better hope that the computer experts working for the NFL were successful in deleting all of the emails around the blacklisting of Tebow. The payout will be huge if evidence ever floats to the surface about the Tebow blacklisting.

As we saw convincingly yesterday, defense wins Super Bowls, not quarterbacks. As for Tebow, I can say with authority, being a long suffering Browns fan, there are several QB's on that list who are half the quarterback Tebow is. I know because about half the list played for the Browns in the last ten years. Oh, and it's hard to "keep winning football games" when you don't get to play.
