The hapless San Diego Chargers were not so hapless this year.
They did make the playoffs. They also beat the Bengals in the first round of the playoffs. They did lose 2 out of 3 to Denver though splitting the regulars season and losing in the 2nd round playoffs.
WSJ sports did a study on Manning and it appears high wind speeds are his nemesis.
Current f’cast on AccuWeather for the locale shows winds below 5 mph all game.
Meaningless stats or profound, we’ll see...
Don’t forget Sydney Rice..
Now if we could just send Ponder too,
Isn’t that nice!! His mom and dad have every reason to be proud of him. He brothers, too, and of course his wife! I think he’s always conducted himself on the TV like the gentleman my son says he is in person.
“No rain and no snow this game is going to be over at halftime.
That’s what San Fransicko thought 2 weeks ago.”
Denver isn’t Frisco.
“I dont think there is any such bird as a seahawk.”
You must listen to Rush, someone told me he said something like that this week.
From the official Seattle Seahawks website under FAQs:
The name Seahawks
Q:How did the team get the name Seahawks?
A: In June of 1975 a contest was held to name the team. After receiving more than 20,000 entries the name Seahawks was chosen.
Q: What is a Seahawk?
A: Seahawk is another name for an osprey. Ospreys are birds that live on rivers and sea coasts all over the world. They have a wing span of 4 to 6 feet, and body length of 22 to 25. Seahawks soar over the water to hunt for fish, and unlike eagles, ospreys often dive completely under water, using powerful talons to grab their prey.

Woo hoo!! And the first 36% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
There’s also some nasty birds called skuas (of several varieties) that are also called seahawks.
I watched a few minutes of the Puppy Bowl, after a dozen commercials, and then it went to Michelle wooking on the WH lawn. Gross. Turned the channel.
O’Reilly is interviewing The One now on Fox. I turned the channel again.
Watched a few minutes on The Weather Channel — idiots are naming winter storms.
I don’t think the weather will be a factor at all.
No excuses today.
Just play the game.
Neither team comes from a “great climate” city.
:)
unbelievable O’Reilly interview of Obama juts now .
Who will be the first to find a report to post?
lying , obfuscating son-of-a-bitch
Thanks for the info,I may have to actually watch this one. I’m sure BOR will replay it on his show tomorrow night - he’s been trying to get Obama on for sometime. Also, I don’t watch Bill much anymore, flip in and out here and there, but I did hear him asking for questions from viewers and he was going to ask at least 1 or more of those to Obama. Perhaps he had some better questions from the viewers than his staff could come up with (e.g., not softballs).
I wonder if they are showing it live on the jumbotrons in the stadium?
If the score is tied at the end of regular play and they start overtimes and no one scores, how many years will they let it go before they call it a draw?
BTW - we see Ospreys flying by the interstates from time to time and have seen nests a top the lamp posts on the interstates (some not far from downtown Seattle). They’re awesome to watch when they fly - huge wingspans - - almost a cool as watching an eagle fly (and, yes, we do see those around here, too). A fellow FReeper says they have a lot of seahawks/ospreys in Delaware, too.
I was wondering how far down I would have to read before I saw a post like yours.
There's always some one who feels the need to put a turd in the punch bowl and then make sure everyone knows its his turd.
Thanks for not disappointing!
Oh gosh, you mean I missed BOR and the Marxist?
And I forgot to turn the channel to Fox 40!
Oh well, BOR will likely play portions of it for the next 2 weeks.
I was pleasantly surprised that O’Reilly did ask those questions. Obama tried to obfuscate as much as possible. BOR got about as much as anyone could have gotten. What a lying pig is the Bamster!
