Andrew was born February 1, 1969. He was adopted shortly thereafter, and when his late parents, Arlene and Gerry, looked at him, they must have thought, as all parents must, what kind of boy, son, brother, father, husband, friend, person would he become?
Before Gerry passed, he told me something that answered every one of those questions: Andrew had exceeded every imaginable expectation he and Arlene had for him. The nice part is, I was there in person many times when Gerry expressed the same sentiment to Andrew himself.

R.I.P. Andrew.
Ditto.
R.I.P.
RIP
I still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news of this beloved man’s passing. I turned on the TV and saw it and could not believe my eyes. I had just read his tweets from the night before, how could this wonderful man be gone..I miss him everyday and I know he is looking down from heaven and hoping we all continue his fight, and we will
We will, liberalism may win a battle, but it will never win the war...on to 2014!
Thanks FRiend!
Breitbart was such a character and he was good at many things but I think he excelled at boosting morale. It’s just not the same without him but we will trudge on.
Remembering Brietbart on his birthday...miss ya lots. It still doesn’t seem real.
I agree, if there were a bunch of tigers on the street like Andrew we would maybe see the country straighten up faster.
We will fight and we WILL win because no matter what the media says, WE outnumber THEM..it may not appear that way but its true, we do..sometimes its hard to tell nowadays with the media being controlled by the left and Hollywood, but us regular folk, we do outnumber them and we will win at the end, we just have to keep on fighting..in honor of Andrew we will continue to fight
It seems Breitbart thought about aging a good bit...
“I have seen X in recent years at the House of Blues here in LA and it is a pleasant event, but kinda sad to see how we’ve all aged and how the spirit of your teens and 20s can’t be replicated.”

“We talked about aging, as two middle-aged guys who get into the Bloody Mary cart at 11 in the morning sometimes will. I told Andrew that his good friend, Five for Fightings John Ondrasik, had a hit song called 100 Years about aging that never ceases to freak me out. The protagonist of the song describes the different ages of his life 15, 33, 45, and so on that tick by in a blink. It doesnt help, I told Andrew, that I was 33 when the song seemingly came out yesterday, but that I am closer to 45 now, thus illustrating Ondrasiks point.
In a very rare spell of silence, Breitbart stewed for several minutes. Then, he wistfully replied, Dont worry, man. Its something that bothers me, too. But I have it all figured out. We all need to go to work together every day from 9 am to 3 pm, whether we need to or not. In a classroom. Well even sit at those peninsula-shaped desks, with our pencil sharpeners and Elmers glue. And well do it for nine months out of every year.
Why on earth? I asked, puzzled.
Because, he said. When we were in school, that was the last time we watched the clock, and wanted it to hurry up. The last time it took too long to get to the next thing.
