It seems this didn't get very much attention, but I am glad to see the Republicans are trying to do something!

The correct answer is articles of impeachment.

Obama faces backlash on executive power

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/02/barack-obama-executive-power-backlash-102966.html

“The executive agenda outlined in the Politico Pro report — which described an administration eager to shape everything from the content of third-grade math tests to the recipe for Reese’s Pieces to the fuel sources that power our homes — spooks voters, and not just Republicans, said Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah). “This is something that people react to viscerally,” Stewart said.”

I'll believe it when I see it; until then it's just like Issa's investigations that do nothing.

If they were doing something, that would be an impeachment vote after a summons for Obama to appear before Congress to answer questions about his ‘executive actions’ and overstepping of his authority.

Instead it is empty votes for empty actions. The only power Congress has over a president who is overreaching authority is summons and impeachment.

The GOP has assented to the attacks on the American people INCLUDING the imposition of RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

PROVE IT, GOP! Because from where I sit you are complicit in this BS. All you do is grand stand and stab us in the back.

I see very little evidence the GOPe wants to STOP Obama. There are a few members who do, no doubt.

First step...get rid of Boehner, Cantor, McCarty....

Then flush the toilet to sweep the bowl clean of the rest of the RINO creeps...

Utah’s Stewart was on a list as amnesty supporter. I don’t know if he switched back like Raul, Lankford and Poe.

A group of House Republicans is pushing a resolution to bring legal action against President Barack Obama for overstepping his authority in executive orders.

What good is a meaningless resolution???? Either bring legal actions against Obama if you think you have a case or else shut up and go home. Submitting a meaningless resolution saying "Gee, I think we need to do something about this" does absolutely nothing.

Lindsey Graham? John McCain?

It will take years of court proceedings to force Obama to act and then he can just ignore the court order. Biden would do the same.

https://www.numbersusa.com/content/nusablog/beckr/july-31-2013/federal-judge-rules-daca-likely-violates-law-dismisses-ice-agents-suit-t

The federal court today essentially agreed with the ICE agents.

But the court dismissed the court suit today based on a procedural question and not the merits of the case.

So what they need to do is pass comprehensive immigration reform with tough border enforcement and “legalization”. That will give 0bama another opportunity to over-reach; 0bama will only uphold the parts of the law that he likes.
Then the GOP can say, look, he did it again, so that’s proof of over-reaching. The GOP will proudly assert that they were right and ask for your vote.
Right.

Obviously this did not come from the GOP Establishment assholes (McConnell, Cornyn, Boehner, Cantor, et al). They have been caving to Dur Fuehrer for the past 5 years and show no signs of growing a pair.

SomeTHING has to stop the commie residing in OUR home meaning "WE THE PEOPLE". I fought for my beloved AMERICA to allow this socialist to become president???? I astutely agree with many of you that have commented,,,, these empty suits filled with cowards WILL NOT do a doggone thing to stop the insane maniac. Please hurry 2016 so we can vote for someone WITH a birth certificate and NOT a lab report.
