I called a hardheaded realist, a Harvard trained PhD who has been watching the Middle East professionally for decades, to ask him about Obama's Iran deal. This is what he told me.
It's done. Iran will get a bomb.
They want a bomb and they will not be denied unless somebody stops them. Obama does not want to stop them. He does not want a friendly regime in Iran. He wants Iran as a counterforce to America and Israel. Obama is not a Muslim, but he is a radical. He sees the U.S. and Israel as imperialistic and oppressive. He doesn't like the U.S. military. He'd cut it to nothing if he could get away with it.
We'll have to pull our troops and our aircraft carriers out of the Persian Gulf. We'll lose our ability to protect Middle Eastern oil. The Gulf Arabs will have to cooperate with Iran. So will Europe; they depend on that oil.

He probably does not like Europeans much either. Can I say the reason? I don't think it has to do with imperialism, as much as it has to do with something else.

I think it does. One of Lenin’s classic works is “Imperialism.” Obama looks at the world through Marxist spectacles. Therefore he sees a close link between imperialism and capitalism. He would like to see the United States reduced to the same level as Great Britain and France.
Utter nonsense. Israel isn’t going to sit there cowering just because someone *might* leak info about a pending strike. Further, in all likelihood, the Iran situation is beyond the point where overt airstrikes could do anything anyway. If Israel really needs to do something, they’ll send in covert-ops teams.
I thought I read fairly recently that Israel had purchased a large number of our current bunker busters.
Oh, and just to add: the author apparently doesn’t know anything about nuclear weapons. All nukes have tell-tale “signatures” based on the various isotopes present in the aftermath, and their origin can be identified fairly readily.
I have no doubt that is true. I did not mean it say it was not a factor. I just mean I think there are other factors to the Obungler's thinking, and one other factor in particular. Dare I say it?
This deal makes it essentially impossible for Israel to strike — not least because the U.S. has Israel under a microscope, by satellite and other technical means, and also with spies in the government and the IDF (Israeli Defense Force). At the first hint that a mission is imminent, the White House will leak it to the Washington Post, the New York Times, destroying operational security. Just as the U.S. leaked about Israel’s strikes into Syria.
If despite this Israel tries to strike, they are the ones who will be viewed as pariahs and warmongers. They could face economic sanctions. Obviously Bibi didn’t trust Obama, but Obama managed to betray him and Israel anyhow.
Sure, and not a socialist, not a communist, nor a traitor, not a pathological liar and doesn't wish to destroy America...

That makes 2 of us, along with millons of others. The Iranian arsenals made IED componenets and shipped them to Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan and other places. The Iran Revolutionary Guards sent “advisors” to instruct on the assemby and placement of IEDs as shaped charges.These components had Iranian arsenal proof marks on them, YET there has not been one US raid to destroy the production facilities of these bombs since 9/11.
The result is the unecessary deaths of US soldiers and thousands with missing limbs and worse. WHY?
And now people say Iran will have a nuclear bomb and we sit by and allow Obama to create it with them?
Where is the GOP on this issue. Where is Ted Cuz? Obama is indeed a fascist, and why is everyone silent about this fact?

I have no doubt that Israel will struike if necessary, but one thing for sure. If Iran gets the bomb, Saudi Arabia already will have it.NOT a good result for humanity altogether.
