Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza and the former leader of the far-left domestic terrorist group Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, battled in a contentious debate held at Dartmouth University on Thursday night.

Billed as the “ultimate fight between left and right,” the pair clashed on a variety of topics including, libertarianism, Israel, the Second Amendment and Ayers’ radical past. We’ve compiled a list of highlights from the debate below:

I was planning to attend but something came up preventing my attendance.I did record the audio from the live stream...I'll be listening sometime today.

I watched this live last night on line. It was quite a hoot. Ayers read what seemed like a book narrative for about 15 minutes (he is a very gifted speaker) and his speech sounded a lot like “dreams” he wrote for Obamster. His words did not come from the hip....they were prepared. Dinesh spoke without electronic aid and is fascinatingly brilliant. D Souza has a love in his heart which embraces the Constitution and shows a profound love for the USA. Ayers sounded bitter and like the same dirtbag left wing puke he has always been.

If I had gone and was able to ask a question I would have asked Ayers either “how can a proud,self admitted and unapologetic domestic terrorist like yourself pass Secret Service muster for three WH visits if you were ‘just some guy in the neighborhood?’”...or...”do you expect to be indicted soon for the 1970 murder of San Francisco police officer Brian McDonnell?” And then I would have asked him if he's still on the Oughton family's Christmas card list.
