Good point. And “Get your rosaries off my ovaries,” as if the ovaries gestated babies.
Liberals believe abortion is basic birth control.
Thank you. Doing my sesquipedalian best.
Conservatives believe in the truth. She never said abortion. That’s my only objection.
I often describe myself as “robust” when I’ve missed Weight Watchers for several weeks.
I, in my youth, had no idea about a lot of things.
This subject was one of those moments of a life-harsh-learning-experience.
As a young, single GI, in an Asian land, I did act as many of those like me, off duty. I was there, longer than some others, and had an Asian beloved. (I left no one behind when I went into the military, nor when I went to that Asian land.)
This love of mine taught me a few things, including that your actions became the property of the ones you were about to bring into this world. I was, um, very well NOT informed on such matters. Being a half-breed in that Asian land, meant that you would be spurned by all, since you were not of all native blood, and of GI blood, at that, from birth. I was told in a long discussion with the grandfather of the village, of all the things that might fall on the shoulders of such a one, for all their life, and it would be very unmerciful, to say the least. The information that I learned, was very heart-breaking to me. My beloved waited for me to come home, and when I did, all I could do was cry. I knew what ‘ostracism’ means, more than some of you, even as a boy, in New England. Here, in that land, I was ‘to possibly become a father’, or, to do what would be more honorable, in the eyes of my beloved’s family, and name, and ‘save a child a life of being outcast, not loved, and not cared for, properly.’
I was there, with my beloved, through it all, and saw it all. That day, I reckon now, might be the reason why I have never became a father again, in either of my two former marriages, and I accept that.
But, today, in the society that is America 2014, no way, do I support anything to do with abortion.
I did my best to marry that girl, but between her not wanting me to be held in that land by my heart (her words), and that the OSI investigation found that her daddy was a colonel in that land’s Communist army, I came back stateside single.
If you want to scream at me, go ahead.
abortion was wrong then and now
I think myself well-rounded.
You are.
Tom just hit me with a marshmallow. That was not nice.
Liberals believe in killing babies because their lives are so miserable
I’m sorry for you and the girl and the baby.
There’s a lot of pain in your statement. I hope, by the grace of God, you and all involved in that sorrowful situation will be able to find peace.
Yep, that’s right.
The Pope is not calling for a ban on birth control. He is against practicing Catholics using birth control as the use of it is a mortal sin in the eyes of the Church.
No Moron....we oppose ABORTION because it is MURDER...

Thank you, ma’am.
I accept what happened, and what might to some, be described as ‘karma’.
Once stateside, all communication just dropped. So, in actuality, there is nothing more I know.
Yet, I can stand before any other manjack or male politician, and ask them if THEY have ever been a first hand witness, as I had. I did that once “in the assembly”, a time back, and they wanted to put me on a rail, and get me the heck out of their faces. Great bunch, really. All the men ballyhooing, until I asked that same question, then it was ME who was at fault!
Yes, I’m all serttled with it, but yes, when I pull it out from the shadows, in my ‘life’s archives’, I remember a lot.
I thank you, nonetheless, ma’am.

Thank you, ma’am. I have accepted what has happened. When I pull it out of the shadows of my “life’s archives”, I remember a lot.
Once again, thank you, ma’am.

Would YOU have the guts to reason it out, and be a first hand witness? To watch what you’ve so well desired to be done, to be undone?
In America, “roe v wade” wasn’t existing at that time.
Different time, different place, different mind set of different folks, all far away from the Continental 48.
Ain’t got it to lecture me, pally. Go drink your milk!
I didn’t lecture. I stated a principle. My principle doesn’t change.
My reply wasn’t eloquent, but it was heartfelt! It’s a miserable world a lot of the time.
