On the eve of President Barack Obamas State of the Union address, former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords is challenging Washington leaders not to ignore gun violence.
The former Democratic congresswoman is featured in a new television ad set to air immediately before and after the presidents speech. In the ad, Giffords faces the camera and says, Congress is afraid of the gun lobby......
....Kelly called the inaction on Capitol Hill remarkable.
Congress has done nothing because many politicians are listening to the gun lobby when they should be listening to their constituents, he said.

I am tired of playing by Queensbury Rules while liberals play by schoolyard rules.
No more Mr. Niceguy.
Comments like this don’t help anyone and will be seen by the left as to just how insensitive our side is.
That may be true, but why is the type of gun and the serial number part of the background check? How does that help keep criminals and the mentally ill from getting guns? We are not stupid. We know what you really want.
When they get on said soap box somebody need to kick it out from under them. I lining up to do that next legislative session when nannie bloomers/mda/brady/kelley-giffords et al. show up to try to shove tighter gun laws on Nevadans. Wasn’t prepped last session. I will be next go around.
Oh, you mean kinda like our US military ROE vs the moooslams ROE? Must remain PC. Must remain PC. Uh, no. You’re in it to win it or don’t show up.
“You think it is dangerous now, just wait until you try to disarm Americans.”
You have that right, let’s see what happens when the round-up starts.
Haha... not Big Bang Theory... more like Black Hole Theory.
Whew, lots of truth right there FRiend.
The Homicide rate for the United States dropped by half in the last 20 years, as the number of firearms in circulation doubled and the number of concealed carry permits sky-rocketed. The rate of homicides with guns has also been cut in half over the same period.
It is very dangerous to pass laws for emotional reasons. We end up with things like prohibition, the drug war, the income tax, and the Spanish American war.
Well, Gabby... It’s even more dangerous to be disarmed against an increasingly dictatorial government.
Disarm yourself if you wish.

Didn’t a little dustup get out of control when the British tried that at Lexington and Concord?

Idiot, those are their constituants!
Great graphic. But for the life of me I can’t figure out Greenland ...
Do you really give a crap what the Lunatic Left “thinks”? I don’t. They are hopelessly insane.
Neither can I and others have remarked on it too.

The Left already accuses us if being sexist, racist, homophobic, and Hitler. We should stop worrying about what they think. We should make them worry for a chsnge.
Umm, we won't be convincing anyone on the left anytime soon to "switch sides" (at least, not until they get mugged or caught up in the "knock out game". Until then, they can take their "sensitivities" and shove them sideways up their arse's. I am tired of trying to appeal to the left.
We would be having kittens if one of ours had been shot. Take the high road is all I’m saying.
