If you thought you could simply enjoy your Subway sandwich without partisan politics, you thought wrong. Michelle Obamas face is about to invade every one of their restaurants.
The first lady was expected to announce Thursday that the Subway sandwich chain will spend $41 million over three years to encourage finicky young eaters to eat more food that comes out of the ground or grows on trees. The announcement was being made at a Subway shop near the White House.
Subway will only offer a kids menu that mirrors federal standards for school lunches. That includes offering apples on the side and low-fat or nonfat plain milk or water as a default beverage. First off, who wants to have the First Ladys face all over advertisements of a sub shop anyway? Regardless of whether its Michelle Obama, Laura or Barbara Bush, its a cheesy and questionable advertising strategy in that it is painfully obvious that it will cause at least some level of controversy.
If you want to let them know how you feel about this, please send them a note on their website's Customer Service link:

Rumor has it that Jared is pi$$ed big time.
Give her a mustache when no one is looking.
He lives just up the way here in Indiana.
I’ll see if I can find out.
So, has the position of First Lady of the US turning into a commercial product hawker? No wonder the world is losing respect for the USA.
Is the head of Subway some hardcore Democrat who thinks the whole country loves Michelle?
Good, I’ll need somewhere to place excess boogers.
Many may not remember but all during the 2008 campaign she was sporting Nike logowear on hats, clothes, and shoes. I figured she had a deal thru her brother.
Ugh. Are you aware that an awful lot of Subway franchises are owned and controlled by Islamists?
All this, and the kids will still order baloney sandwiches...
Where’s my Sharpie pen...
And when we say BIG sister, we mean
That was my first instinct. But a hammer and sickle might be more appropriate.
Kiss of death -as MacDonald’s is now finding out.
This face?
This face?
This face?
Unfortunately Subway is not publicly traded.
If it was, I’d be recommending puts.
Puts a whole new perspective on the Subway Diet
If this is true I ate my last Subway sandwich last Thursday
