The biggest concern of libtards is how they can use this to destroy capitalism, republicans and the American way of life.

But this magnetic field, so important to life on Earth, has weakened by 15 per cent over the last 200 years. And this, scientists claim, could be a sign that the Earths poles are about to flip."So, you need to give us more money in the form of grants to study the "problem", or we're all gonna DIE!"

The “sudden” pole reversals are only sudden in the geological sense. They are estimated to take between 1000 and 10,000 years.

“Earth’s magnetic field is collapsing”
I hate when that happens. And I’m certain it’s because too many iron-based products are in use by the unfairly rich, greedy and imperialistic countries, and Mother Earth is fighting back.
We need a new, multi-trillion dollar UN plan to transfer wealth from the major iron-using countries to the undeveloped countries to compensate them for our wanton destruction of the magnetosphere and the massive pain the magnetic field will these poor, innocent peoples cause when it collapses on top of them, squashing them like lil bitty bugs being squashed under a stomping redneck’s engineer boots.

I didn’t think it was sudden or abrupt, but it’s been a while since I read about it. You’re right- nothing we can do, anyway. :-) Doomers gotta doooom. I’d put this on the least of our worries.

'This isn't some crazy theory that might happen,' said Professor Wild. 'There is evidence, but we still need to do more science to understand the impact...I'm confidence we can come up with a solution.' Bush's fault and your fault for driving that big SUV, heating your home and using that evil gas lawn mower.
We need more taxes on carbon, including NO. 2 lead pencils that kids used to use in school when they were taught cursive writing.

Isn’t here a tax, or some limit on liberty, or banning of capitalism we can implement to stop this?

I was gonna order one of those army-issue compasses this weekend for an upcoming navigation class. Should I wait for an updated model? Non-toy compasses have a dial to adjust for "real" magnetic north (Magnetic declination )
http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag-web/?id=declinationFormId can be used to calculate the adjustment for your location.

We probably didn’t have the scientific knowledge last time this happened to know it was even going on. Love how liberals think they know everything about how God created the earth and it’s changes. Liberals fear so much in this world because it’s all they truly believe there is. That’s why they want there nirvana now.
