A nine-year-old boy walked backwards up a wall and ceiling as startled medical staff looked on after his mother claimed he and his two siblings had been possessed by demons, according to official reports. The unlikely-sounding event was detailed in official documents after a child services case worker and a nurse both said they saw the boy 'glide' backwards on the floor, wall and ceiling. Both were shocked to see the boy apparently float after their mother had been subject to months of scepticism when she claimed her home in Gary, Indiana, was haunted and all three of her children were possessed by demons. Latoya Ammons said her 12-year-old daughter also levitated in the home, and all three of her children showed signs of being possessed including 'evil' smiles and unnaturally deep voices, according to the Indianapolis Star. Miss Ammons' home was officially exorcised by a catholic priest who said the ceremonies were officially authorized by the Diocese of Gary. Police also observed strange goings on at the house and a captain of the city's force has said he 'is a true believer' that the house is haunted. After a string of apparent paranormal events at the house hardened police officers - including the local captain - even declared themselves too frightened to stay there after nightfall and numerous city officials refused to go to the property.

America is possessed?
So bankrupt, America is about to be REPOSSESSED!
A hellhound if ever I saw one.
You can laugh, but I have a video of a demon getting ejected from a woman in Piggs Peak, Swaziland during my 2010 mission trip. I have not seen any manifest like this, but I have seen a teenage girl nearly folded in half (the wrong direction), with things moving under their skin and a look in their eyes that shows up in nightmares sometimes.
There is a Satan, there are demons, and they will flee at the command of a believing Christian commanding them to go in Jesus name. I have seen that, too.
-— Evil is as real and as potentially powerful as is goodness and purity. Not every single account of possession is actually that, but I believe some are. -—
Lots of social worker and police witnesses. Very well documented in the local press, as well as in the priest’s report to the bishop, as linked in other threads posted yesterday.
-— Apparently the testimony of the witnesses counts for nothing. -—
If you reject the possibility in principle, no evidence will suffice. Others who accept the possibility in principle, seem to be excessively skeptical, probably because they’re not familiar with all of the documentation.
> Interesting - 14 out of the 17 responses thus far are either flippant or skeptical, or both. Apparently the testimony of the witnesses counts for nothing.
After hearing lie after lie for the past 5 years on a daily basis we don’t take things seriously until we can confirm it....its for our own mental health.. Lol
I accept the possibility that these things can happen; there is reason for skepticism in any particular case, simply because of so many cases of fraud and/or misinformation. So although I wouldn’t bet the ranch on any specific case of this type, I think some are real phenomena. But I think SOME people who discount these things out of hand are either arrogant or too frightened by the unknown to admit the possibility of such phenomena.
