Sarah is loyal. One of the virtues, so long as it doesn’t displace something more important.

Here, some kind words for the old feeble ex-hero doesn’t mean she is turning her back on the movement. McLame might want to use her kind vague words to convince folks that he is a good guy and a conservative. But really, how well will that work in practice? No one on this board is buying it.

One thing no one ever seems to mention about McLame, is how slimey he was during the Keating - savings and loan scandals. The SOB took a LOT of money under the table and later claimed to be for cleaning up campaigns! Geez.

McCain is up for re-election in 2016. Six more years?

It goes without saying we don’t all agree on all political issues. For instance, I shall keep pushing to open ANWR, I oppose letting illegal aliens cut in line and receive American benefits via “immigration reform,” and I oppose any Congressional action that allows President Obama to incur more U.S. debt. During this time of dangerous lawlessness in the executive branch, those who agree on stopping the intended transformation of our country had better unite to fight. So at this time, it's perplexing to see Senator McCain’s good efforts to uncover the Obama agenda being ignored and perhaps even hindered now by those wanting to censure the Arizona Senator. Despite our differences on some other issues, there is no questioning Senator McCain’s dedication to national security in spite of the White House’s agenda.
Couple of things.

1.) IIRC, this is the first time Governor Palin has staked out her differences with Senator McCain. In past writings, she's only spoken about their common beliefs.

2.) She's trying to keep everyone's eye on the target, President Obama. There's nothing to be gained by ostracizing McCain at this time, especially if he's attacking the Administration's Benghazi debacle.

All resources should be focused on getting as many conservative elected in November as humanly possible.

"if you've met his beautiful mother you know where he gets his tenacity. Roberta McCain is one tough Mama Grizzly."

I wish McCain would get some of his mother's "tenacity" in regards to Constitutional conservative values. I wish he were a Papa Grizzly for America's free enterprise system and our free market health care system. There is something wrong with McCain when he is so tone deaf on so many important issues.

Dedicated to National Security

McCain is a Internationalist. How does that jive with National anything. His father was an honourable officer.

So Governor Palin is correct 99% of the time.
I ignore her when she speaks of McQweeg. She has a blind spot there, but otherwise she has my support. Palin or Cruz in 2016 will work for me.

Although I should note, nobody short of George Washington will be able to turn this Ship of State around. And George could do it because he'd understand that it would take more than speeches and political arm twisting to implement the necessary corrections.

I think her comments are unfortunate.

Nothing really needs to be said.

If we're honest with ourselves, this speaks volumes about Palin.

John started out as a schoolyard bully. He like to beat up the other boys. He was a major screw-up all through his formative years. He took his Naval Academy days as a lark. He took his flight training as a lark.

It is often thought he was an honorable man during his Naval Flight Officer years, and his POW years. About this, I do not know.

What I do know is that as soon as he returned home and entered politics, it didn't take him time at all to involve himself in criminal dealings. He was the largest receiver of cash and favors from Keating. Cranston had to resign for receiving much less cash. McCain skated.

He worked with the worst players the Left could loft to the highest offices in the land. He slandered the Conservatives amongst us.

It was in insult to this nation that McCain was chosen as our nominee. It was the sickest joke pulled on this nation since it's inception. This rat bastard has backed Obama's play more often than not. He is the reason we supported rebels in Libya, and facilitated them getting the shoulder fired SAMS.

Now these weapons are loose in the Middle-East and are certain to be spread elsewhere.

You can't do John McCain justice in just a few words. Pick a subject and he's betrayed us on it.

Anyone who wants my vote, needs to express an understanding of who and what John McCain is, and has been for his entire life.

McCain Again

This is strange.

There is no occasion I know of that would prompt such statements.

I can think of only one thing in recent history. Moronic daughter Meghan stated in the press sometime in the latter half of 2013 I believe that her father was “depressed” and concerned about the future of his party, the GOP.

It may be that McCain is either ready to slip off the deep end with a clinically observed mental illness OR he is getting ready to defect to the democrats which he is ideologically tied to or both.

And Sarah is trying to save him from himself?

Sorry, but I refuse to be caught up in the cult of personality for anybody...even Palin. This support for McCain was just flat out dumb on her part. Fine, if she feels loyalty of some sort or another for McCain, refrain from being openly critical of him...that is indeed enough!

To those who just can’t seem to understand the disappoint that many of us here on FR feel for Palin’s open support of McCain, consider the following:

First, John McCain is nothing but a back-stabbing RINO, who runs as a conservative, but sides with the Dems on almost every issue. Let’s also not forget this POS signature legislation McCain-Feingold. You remember, that funny little law that took away other Americans right to free speech!

Secondly, we were told during the last couple of election cycles that Sarah’s support for candidates was key to them winning because many valued what her thoughts were.

Okay then, do we really want Sarah helping a back-stabbing, Amnesty loving, RINO in gaining favor with the public?

Sorry, this was a stupid move by Sarah. You Betcha!

I love Sarah but she needs to stay the hell away, run away as fast as she can, from McQweeg. He will only bring her down.
She has more than paid her dues with this clown.

That photo shows a VERY different man than what we have right now.

Back then, when that picture was taken, I doubt he’d be as deferential to the other side as he is - and has been - now.

For his service, I respect him.

For his political treachery and backstabbing of our own people... not so much.

Sorry, Sarah. You're wrong on this one. McCain is not the hero you think he is. You should have directed your remarks at McCain, rather than his detractors. He's no friend to conservatives.

Unfortunately John McCain has a close “buddy” who tags along with him named Lindsey Graham.....I sure hope these kind words don’t apply to him in the upcoming primary election in South Carolina.

No one is perfect and does everything the way I would but maybe Sarah’s way is a better way. I agree to disagree with her view.

If I lived in Arizona right now I would be censuring McCain and wishing his early retirement and working towards that end.

He’s on FNC right now bashing the Tea Party. Again. Says he’s more motivated to run for reelection since he was censured by the AZ GOP. Perhaps Sarah will endorse him again.....
