RUTH MARCUS, WASHINGTON POST: I think it comes to something very interesting that ties together the Huckabee comments and the Rand Paul comments, which is there's only two ways -- there seem to me a tendency to talk about women in two ways when it comes to sex and sexual activity. Either they're terrible victims preyed on by older men as in Monica Lewinsky. President Clinton did a bad, bad thing, Monica Lewinsky was not precisely an innocent victim completely, I recall thong flashing there. They're either innocent victims or they are sexually promiscuous, slutty, low-life women. There's no sort of women get to use sex and sexual activity and with that use contraception responsibly just like men do.

It’s typical memory loss by left wing idiots. I bet Ruth Marcus will completely ignore all the things said about Lewinsky by Dems (especially Carville) with “trailer trash” or “drag a hunder dollar bill through a trailer park” and all the articles about Clinton and the “bimbo” eruptions.
Talk about a War On Women!
Monica is a joke and Bill went on with his life. IMO, that makes her a victim. That and her youth. He had the poor girl thinking he was in love with her!
“I never told any one to lie, not a single time.”
Haha, google disappeared the sound clip. Figures.
Like all “victims” of workplace sexual abuse, she asked for it..
Liberals and the media conveniently forget Bill Clinton's role in that. According to the Starr Report, Clinton commented on how pretty Monica's dress or skirt was. When she said "thanks," Clinton said "I'd like to see what's under it."
That's when she flashed him.
Monica still bears some responsibility, but let's not forget who initiated the whole thong-flashing incident.
I’m looking at the Starr Report. One summary says that in the course of flirtation between Clinton and Lewinsky, the lifted her jacket in the back to show him the straps of her thong that showed above her pants.

"Don't, under ANY circumstance, leave a jizz stain [AhHem} your DNA, on the girl's dress!"
Excuse me for the vulgarity, old sailors just can't help themselves, dontcha know, its in our genes...
Release all that information stored in the Ford Administration Building pertaining to Bimbogate to clear the air. What difference does it make?
I agree. And bosses off the help, too.
Irrelevant.
The highest person on the chain is the person who is 100% responsible.
I don't care if she showed up buck naked or did the dance of the six veils and a handkerchief.
You don't sleep with your subordinates.
I agree thatMonica wasn’t exactly innocent; but Kathleen Wiley and Juanita Broderick were victims. One was sexually harassed and Juanita was brutally raped.
>>They’re either innocent victims or they are sexually promiscuous, slutty, low-life women.<<
Isn’t there a class between the ‘high and low” types? I sure hope so.
I remember at the time Ross Perot saying that if the thong snapping thing would have happened in his office he would have assumed the young woman had emotional issues and would have called her parents to come and take her home.
That stuck with me becaue that is exactly what I would expect a grown man especially a man of the stature of the President of the United States to do with a young woman like that.
Hear hear; how many marriages are broken up because bosses are messing with their secretaries?
I don’t know ... but most women aren’t as goal-oriented as Hillary Clinton: they’d have dumped Bill long before he met Monica Lewinsky.
Most womne would have gone it alone instead of using their husband as their stalking horse.
