I also suspect that our cat is spying on us for the NSA.

“Forget about hacking your house. What about hacking your body? In 2012, White Hat hacker Barnaby Jack, recently deceased, proved he could kill a diabetic person from 300 feet away by ordering an insulin pump to deliver fatal doses of insulin. This summer he announced he could hack pacemakers and implanted defibrillators.”

Ironically the people who will get all excited about nonsense like this are those who can’t leave Facebook and Twitter alone and go apoplectic if they can’t find their cellphone.

I figure if I’m on FR, there’s nothing additional to be found by the fedgov.
It’s a liberating feeling.

I am getting suspicious of our dog. He watches me a lot from inside his cunningly contrived pillow fortress...

"Thanks for the heads-up - Ive just destroyed everything on that list - now what do I do?" Al Gore is recommending that you go out to your backyard and dig a hole and stick your head in it.

what about the data grabs happening inside your own home, perpetrated not by the government, but by your coffee machine? Don't worry. All that data is going to find its way to NSA.
Remember, we have to give up our privacy or Al-CIA-duh will get us. The same Al-CIA-duh that Unlce Scam is arming to kill Christians in Syria.

There was a FR comment in one of the Ukraine protest threads where the protestors in the area got automated text messages to their phones saying something like “Please be aware that you have been traced to the protest area during the riot”. Not sure if it is true (there was a photo of the text). I know they CAN trace them, but why warn them? Unless perhaps to get people to leave just from the fear.

There is no doubt that my computer is spying on me. I have purchased quite a few things over the internet. Now whenever I scan different sites for things I am thinking about buying, I get the exact type things I like already picked out to show me.
Doesn’t bother me all that much but it does show how much even an ordinary person is watched.
Some of the other things strike me as a bit weird. Not saying there is no possibility but my dishwasher?
