Call Michael at 855 400 SAVAGE
855 400 7282
3 TO 6pm ET
He’s doing swimmingly in individual markets.
Michael himself has said that he doesn’t give a rat’s ass what happens to him in drive time — he says that his core audience is quite different from the afternoon drive audience, and frankly, I don’t think he gives three shits what people think about him.
If this afternoon drive career advances, good.
If not, so be it.
He could care less, frankly. His life is all about Teddy, some Italian Merlot and his hole-in-the-wall favorite Chinese joint in Chinatown.
In the real world, it is clear that he is fading away, 3.5 million listeners puts him way down the list, way, way down.
He doesn’t care much for afternoon drive. He could care less about ratings. In his world, he just wants to be left alone, behind his newly-designed black curtains.
Savage is like Chris Plante (whom I’ve known personally since 2006) — their mindset is that if they’re on the radio — fine. If they’re not on the radio — that’s fine as well.
Really, these people will not die of brain aneurysms. They could care less.... they are stress-free.
I think the fans stress out way more than they do...
LOL, Savage is as petty as they come, he is obsessed with being a big player, it one reason that he spends so much of his time attacking the big boys.
The guy is just too goofy and contradictory, to hold onto an audience.
Who cares what you think.
He’s been on radio for 20 years. Trust me, he could care less. He could retire tomorrow and live comfortably for the rest of his standard life.
Yes, and he is fading away, he is down to 3.5 million, I trust my opinion that he isn't happy with dying out like this.
Performers don't like to see themselves fading away and losing all their audience, even if they do have money, going out as a loser is something they are not indifferent to.
He is not fading anywhere, His show is new in this time slot.
Another show I will have to catch later. Overtime on a cold day. It will be about 8 degrees tomorrow when I stagger off to work, haha.
The numbers prove you wrong.
The numbers you see now means nothing. Savage had 10 million at the peak of his show when he was with TRN, he chose not to continue with TRN, as a result he was off the air two months then he signed contract with Cumulus for a late night show (9-12 EST) so he started from scratch again, of course he lost some of his listeners who wouldn’t follow him on to the new time slot.
Now Savage is on at a better time and on better stations. We will watch his ratings growing stronger than it ever was.
Don’t hold your breathe waiting for the guy to gain another 10 million listeners.
Thanks for posting that!
Say what? People still listen to over-the-air broadcast radio? Jeezuz, if it wasn't for my smartphone and TuneIn/iHeart I probably wouldn't listen to radio at all.
I don't even listen to my car radio anymore.

Savage says that the GOP has sold out to the Better Business Bureau. I wonder if he means Chamber of Commerce?
Now he seems unaware that the SNAP program has been advertising? Look alive, Savage, they’ve been advertising for awhile now and most people are aware of it.
Now he’s taking credit for Michele Bachmann’s political career?
Has it occurred to him that Alan West may have stopped coming on because of Savages mean-spiritedness?
This is an interesting strategy. Act like such a p***k that people stop coming on the show. Then attack them for not coming on the show.
At least they admit that the numbers are non scientific and yet the radio hosts and the industry report those numbers as if they are proven fact.
I can’t remember the source but I believe there was somebody who put more research into it and their conclusion was that the actual numbers are about 10 percent of those reported numbers.
If you listen to Savage for the whole two or three hours do you get counted for each half hour or hour ratings time slot?
Savage says the Beatles were messengers for Aleister Crowley.
Good Tuesday Savage. Topic is largely the upcoming state of the union speech by el-bozo.
Minutes into the third hour, Savage cuts from a live show to a mishmash of audio cuts from previous hours/shows, all cleverly edited to make it sound live, but it isn’t. And the insulting part is that he thinks we, the listening audience, are too stupid to notice it.
Oh yeah!
He's the smartest man in the world doncha know.
