Regarding your editorial "Censors on Campus" (Jan. 18): Writing from the epicenter of progressive thought, San Francisco, I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its "one percent," namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the "rich."

Well, if that happens, which will prevail? Football, basket ball or baseball?

Football is about to be done in. The variety of damage caused by steroids, HGH, testosterone, speed, meth, cocaine and who knows what is being pinned on ‘concussions’ and, with paid college players and no-limit liability, won’t be recognizable as football in a very few short years.

Great point on subsidies/prices!

Obamacare is unaffordable for all that do not have subsidies. Force everyone into Obamacare - you have a de facto distribution of wealth AND control of the health and vitality of the population.

Obamacare is a key component of population control.

“Whether left or right is in control, they both owe everything to this 1% and will fail without them. You don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” - S

This idea is why socialism fails. It does not mean that the will to power of totalitarians is diminished. For example - Pol Pot AFTER gaining control rounded up all the scholars (rivals in thought) and killed them. It does not make sense to rational people, but to totalitarian monsters, it is a required move.

From the original article you posted:

"Kristallnacht was unthinkable in 1930 [emphasis mine]; is its descendant "progressive" radicalism unthinkable now? "

Did you even read what you posted?

The fact that the demonization of the rich has not yet fully played-out doesn't mean it never will.

Still waiting for an answer on what you meant when you characterized your father as a "leftist".

Sorry for slow reply.

In order for the rich to suffer a similar fate to the Jews in the Holocaust, they would have to fall victim to the government. Considering that they control the government, whether they be liberal or conservative, this would seem to be an impossibility.

My father was a Democrat who believed primarily in helping the downtrodden, not surprising considering what he went through.
