It's as cold as a well-digger's - Able Sugar Sugar!
A very smooth commute in this morning - got out early and encountered little traffic on the way in. On the way home I had a reasonably smooth trip with a couple of real scares at the beginning. Less than a block from the office, a couple of moronic pedestrians crossed against the light in front of a moving bus and me. We're talking about students at GWU. I was on the phone with Mrs. MacNessa - hands-free, of course, and the expletives that issued from my usually benign mouth shocked her.
A few minutes later, I entered Rock Creek Parkway, which is one way outbound from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The motorcycle police drove by and a few hundred yards up the road were two cars stopped that had been going southbound against the traffic. It's not even a full moon!
I'm resting with a nice Cabernet right now.
