I always wondered how the press decided to give the Communist states a blue color which is usually interpreted as representing honor or fidelity.

Instead they give the states which are more conservative, the Red for Communist color. Not a coincidence I guarantee you.

It happened a decade or so ago. Before that, colors were based on incumbency power and switched around.

I live the color red but it would be much better to paint the leftists as to thier preferred historical color.

We all know what is the hue of a dead body, and it is blue.

So I think that in the long run , it is appropriate the dead states like ours in California, and Illinois and New York, are considered ‘blue’.

Red states are full of life and freedom and prosperity.

Not sure when it happened but I distinctly remember David Brinkley on Election Night in 1984 marveling at the election map and said it looked “a suburban swimming pool” in reference to Reagan’s landslide victory. Just another cheap trick by the Lamestream Media.
