Exactly. Ukraine has excellent reasons to join the EU that we don’t have to approve of, and most, as I see, don’t try to understand. How about infrastructure investments? D’uh! Germans and French and the Swedes don’t like anything better than open up supermarkets, sell their products and build roads to deliver them. Winners all around. There are other benefits for the citizens of an underdeveloped EU member. And lots of pain for the small producers who will now have to obey EU regulations.

True...but Putin covets the Ukraine for his pipeline into Europe. The Russian Ukrainians mistakenly believe they will benefit from this not to mention being a part of their homeland Russia. The pipeline will likely happen anyway.....the EU will work with Putin and or any other Leader of the Ukraine to make that happen.

Protesters taking over Administration offices ...many police officers are not stopping them....military Generals and such are beginning to support the protesters...more importantly they are NOT standing with Yanck.
