May God help us from these Global Warming loonies! Here in our neck of the woods, the Seattle City Council is talking about banning gas driven leaf blowers, for God's sake! True, leaf blowers do blow out more CO2s. But, how many leaf blowers are being used compared to all the other internal combustion engines? How about one airliner trip from New York to Los Angles?

After we act like Chicken Littles about all of man's CO2 emissions, we can get a better perspective by eating a little pie chart:

Two Rules About Global Warming

1 - Record Setting Cold Temperatures:
Snow or ice does not disprove the existence of Global Warming. They are just anecdotal evidence of a temporary condition and cannot be regarded as valid indicators.

2 - Record Setting Warm Temperatures:
Drought, rain, storms, melting ice, or other unusual conditions are undeniable empirical evidence that man caused Global Warming is destroying the planet, and maybe even the entire galaxy.

If you check the History of weather for this region... Sochi is not a great place for the Winter Games... but it is the cheapest region to hold it for that part of the world. They would have to spend a bunch of money on infrastructure to hold it where it would be perfect.
