Nicole Oulson told a national television audience today that she wants Curtis Reeves, the man accused of killing her husband in a Wesley Chapel movie theater, to spend the rest of his life in prison.
He brought an unfair life sentence to me to have to raise my daughter alone, to have to live without the love of my life, for my daughter to grow up without her daddy by her side for graduation and marriage, Oulson said on ABCs Good Morning America. It was so unnecessary, it was for no reason. So I want him behind bars and to be punished for his senseless act.
Yeah, right: At 22 months of age, her daughter ought to observe proper grammar.
Seriously: You think that noteworthy?
Regards,
OK, let's try this one out.
(After consulting with my attorney, and my attorney is present.) There was a man behind me making noise texting with his phone. I asked him nicely to stop and he didn't, so I stood, faced him and again asked him to stop making noise and disturbing everyone around him. At this point, he stood up, and attacked me by throwing a bag of pop corn in my face temporarily blinding me, and then I felt him grab the front of my shirt. In my blinded state, I felt my life was in danger, so I drew my pistol and fired.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
I concur.
I agree.
My my! Aren’t we angry today? If you don’t like my post go find another one. It’s called freedom of speech. And I’m not taking any hikes. You can bet on it pal.
Is that you Mr. Curtis Reeves? Make bail already?!
It is my understanding the shooter left the theater and returned. Has anyone else heard this. If he left and came back then would not that fall in the category of premeditation!!
All true.
It can even be about being the bigger (smarter) man and moving to another seat even if you are not carrying a pistol.
You never know if the other guy is a loose cannon ready to blow up or not.
I see my primary objective as survival and protection of my loved ones..
It's not about right or wrong or being manly enough to stare the other guy down - it's about avoiding and/or not exacerbating a potentially deadly situation when possible.
When avoidance or evasion is not possible, then you defend yourself and deal with the threat, and not by throwing popcorn.
The history is the retired cop has a history of harassing people for texting in the theater. Must be rough to try and deal with not being able to write speeding tickets anymore.
“Not to speak ill of the dead but dollars to donuts hubby was a hothead “bad boy” type who mouthed off to anyone who came across as an authority figure.”
Yeah, so let’s just kill him, right! The word moron comes to mind as I read your post. Sure you aren’t a LEO? If you were, your post would make perfect sense. You should be ashamed and apologize to the rest of us.
THERE, fixed it for you.
I too am a little surprise by the rush to judgement on an issue none of us really know much about.
Frankly, it’s none of my business until it morphes into something that IS my business.
Your husband should just stay home and play with his phone... so you won’t worry about him.
Come back when you find some class.
I’m with you. It’s kinda like the guy who is killed by a drunk driver because he wasn’t wearing his seat belt. It’s the drunks fault, but still...
And I do believe that an armed society is a polite society. If the guy knew the old guy was carrying, he may still be alive.
Agreed. Throwing popcorn and texting before a movie might be obnoxious, but its hardly life threatening or worthy of the escalation to lethal force.
Why is she venting her hatred to GMA (real people don’t watch ABC, CBS or NBC anyhow), take your voice to the trial and ask to express your opinion at the sentencing part of the trial.
Not necessarily. If he went to management to lodge a complaint, he was perhaps exercising his right to quiet enjoyment of the movie experience. No one could easily prove if he had the mens rea at that time. Thereafter, the incident transpired.
Come back when you find some human decency.
I don’t have a husband. I have a wife, who has to be in communication with the counter-terrorism fusion cell at the State Police 24/7..... She carries a 10mm glock. In the car a FN five-seven and a PS90. No one is going to make her do anything.
