Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis is under fire for apparently misstating facts about her life story, with a Republican opponent claiming the discrepancies raise questions about her honesty.
Davis, a Democratic state senator who rose to prominence last year after delivering a lengthy filibuster against abortion restrictions, was the subject of a Dallas Morning News piece on Sunday that took issue with several details in her personal narrative.

While serving on Fort Worth City Council, Davis voted in the Republican Party primaries. Davis has said she was Republican because she liked Republican Congresswoman Kay Granger and she wanted to vote on judicial nominees in Republican primaries.[11] She voted in the Republican primaries in 1996, 1998 and 2006 and she has given $1,500 to Granger

I was born a poor black child on an Indian Reservation in Louisiana to two homosexual male parents. Bruce and Gary, my parents, gave me a puppy named Spot for my fifth birthday, but it was actually a potato because the Republicans had eaten all the dogs. Then, they ate Gary and Bruce, leaving me an orphan with a potato dog. I had gender identification problems. I didn’t know if I was a boy or a girl or a trial lawyer. The other children teased me calling me an “Ambulance Chasing Potato Dog Boy”. But, I worked hard at school and earned a scholarship to Harvard based on their diversity quota that required them to have at least one student with a potato dog. I became the editor of the Harvard Law Review and graduated Au Gratin.
I wouldn’t bet on it. There aren’t any people interested in honesty and integrity in Texas major metro areas.

I was listening to KLBJ today (as always) and they reported that abortion Barbie is now dating Kurt Spelman (may be Spilman) a former Austin Mayor.
Really? I don't need anything at the grocery store, but noticed the girl scouts there this afternoon after I left the bank. For some reason, they had a half day school today.
We ran out of vinegar the other day, so I may go buy some just to tick off the scouts and their moms when they ask me to buy cookies.

Actually, I think he was a councilman, not a former mayor. I think he ran for mayor in Austin and was defeated.
Yeah, I was like did I somehow sleep through a mayor? Wouldn’t be hard to do...
