I used to live just down the road from White Sands.

There is a tiny office there for soldiers to get their driver license and plates...but if you know where it is anyone can use it.... much faster than waiting in line at a DMV office :-)

Got to mess around with an old V2 rocket there...way cool.

Good evening, Bobalu...sounds like a good thing to know. DMVs are always CRAMMED and you have to wait for everything.
