WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama said he doesn't think marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol, "in terms of its impact on the individual consumer."
"As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don't think it is more dangerous than alcohol," the president said an interview with "The New Yorker" magazine.

NEVER elect people whose brains were altered by drugs to positions where they can write 2800 page laws that make absolutely no sense, and are totally unworkable. The only Probability part of the Have probably done the same thing is if you vote for a liberal progressive Democrat, you PROBABLY are dealing with a drug altered drug deprived mind, soon to be followed by a wealth deprived nation where the drug abusers never get locked up, just your money in failing social experiments that acquire in perpetuity a life of their own.
He sucks on cigarettes today and in his youth sucked on cannabis and other things.

Research is showing that using pot in your teens or even younger does real damage to your brain. Obviously in his case.

His reasoning: Middle-class kids dont get locked up for smoking pot, and poor kids do
And African-American kids and Latino kids are more likely to be poor and less likely to have the resources and the support to avoid unduly harsh penalties. The R Card again. FU Bah-rock.
To: IbJensen
"Middle-class kids don't get locked up for smoking pot, and poor kids do," Who gets locked up for smoking pot (and nothing else), period?
Heck, hispanics who are suspected of being foreign nationals aren't even charged when they are stopped under suspicion of DWI. Too much paperwork, not enough money for the fines.

Dopehead president. Dopehead nation.
America has become such an embarrassment. I’ve really been coming around to the realization that the country is getting everything it deserved, via 2008 and 2012.

“really puts the wind in the sails of the movement to end marijuana prohibition.”
I’ve brought this up on other threads- we urged, and signed a UN treaty making cannabis globally illegal, and out of that treaty came several international laws.
Are we just going to ignore that? What will UN or INTERPOL do?
