Now that the dust is beginning to settle, the biggest takeaway from what's swirled around New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is this: Hillary Rodham Clinton can never be president.

Or, more pointedly, no intelligent, reasonable person who thinks what happened in New Jersey disqualifies Christie for the White House can vote for Clinton for the same office.

Anyone declaring Christie out of bounds today who later claims careful or informed deliberation while pulling the Hillary lever in 2016 is a bald-faced liar. They are but naked, shameless, rabid partisans.

Democrat supporters think the government is there to give them stuff, and to the needy, for them. The criteria for getting stuf is wide and varied, but it is never to include the military. The other benefit dem pols provide is license. They make living an amoral life possible for constituents and the reverse, staying with the constitution and a moral life for the health of the country, that conservative pols represent, is horrible to them

Democrat supporters believe that gaining and staying in power is thee dem politician’s job and reason for being, and morals and a legal and moral authority are irrelevant. They are relativists

Relativism allows dem pols to go about doing anything they wish, and if its in the process of gaining power, it is a blessed activity

Benghazi was bad and it won’t go away. It transcends relativism. It affects put foreign policy. It affects the government’s relationship with the embassies and with the military

But covering it up is seen by supporters as admirable

Placing normal natural law based morals onto republicans is what dems do. And so do we, so a republican who messes up is done. A republican who can be portrayed as messing up is done

When republicans try to move in on dem territory they are done if they so much as spell a word wrong

When republicans try to win over dems by acting dem or liberal , dem supporters will always go after them, as the republican moves in to win overdone rates that the dem supporters that the dem pols want

Hillary will never be gone as a result of dem supporter outrage

When conservative pols value conservative supporters, ignore the 47%that mitt noticed, as in winnable, and run on morals and constitutional authority they stay out of trouble with the libs, being beyond reproach or able to recover in case they misspell a word

And libs will never get it. They’ll never get Reagan or even bush, who played to them, losing conservatives but never gaining libs

In addition, the Christie issue serves multiple purposes for the left. It gets the spotlight off the abysmal failures of the dems - 0vomitcare, Benghazi, etc. It keeps things like the knockout game out of the news. It weakens a potential rival to Hillary. (On this point I have no issue, since I do not believe Christie is a conservative by any definition. If he is the candidate, I will vote third party or write-in - better than not voting at all.)

The dems are masters at pointing the finger and keeping conservatives on defense. We need to stop playing defense and go full force on offense. We need to point out the faults of the left and never let up on the pressure and criticism. Stop “playing nice.”
