A few weeks ago, Fish had a comment about one of her Church Choir members who is a Democrat. While Fish defined this individual as “nice” - How do conservatives (Limited G’ment) types deal with a committed communist
While this individual may be “nice” in an interpersonal setting, their voting causes evil to overcome us all. This Communist belief system / Faith really, is hard to turn.
My attitude of not being nice to these people does not work in turning these communist freaks into responsible Americans.
Getting the Base out to vote in the primaries is important. But after that how do we, in everyday life, turn / educate / convince these people of their destructive faith in having someone else solve their problems for them is destroying America. And in the process enslaving all of us?
I don't have very high hopes for changing perspectives, especially in the state of Maryland, but I try to speak up gently when challenged by lefties. I try to say something that relates more to the everyday life we both experience, rather than relate to something that they take as a given: "Republicans are mean." "Pro-life people hate women/blacks/the poor, etc."
Example: "How is you health insurance? Safe? Oh, that's good news. Obama has really hurt a lot of people with his plans, hasn't he!"
There is no point arguing with the hardcore cultists, they will never change since it is their religion. Their god is gummit and no amount of time will change their faith in it. Better to talk with those who have doubts in the cult.
