Pennsylvanias voter ID law, among the nations most stringent, was struck down Friday morning by a state judge.
Commonwealth Court Judge Bernard L. McGinley ruled that the law, requiring almost all voters to present photo identification prior to voting, was an unreasonable burden on voters.

Ridiculous. I’m going to have to get a star on my driver’s license to board a domestic flights in the next year or so. But I can vote in PA with no ID. Where is the handle? We need to flush America and let the bowl refill with fresh water.
unreasonable burden on voters”
...so is working, having to pay for their own liquor and cigarettes and following the rule of law.
Why, do they stare at your Driver's License extra long?
What garbage. The Supreme Court has already ruled it’s not an undue burden. This douche-bag judge has his 15 minutes of fame and then the USSC will squash him like the bug he is.
Gee. And I bet they can get foodstamps, free medical care, and free food and drugs without any ID also. Right?
I can’t check in a motel or hotel without an ID.
I can’t get a library card without an ID.
So, the poor “don’t fly” (ever ???) and “don’t have a car” ..... But the poor can vote 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 times (for democrats) ...
Then why is is OK to require a photo ID to purchase liquor, weapons, get on an airline, etc?
This is just pure bull Obamastuff.
And it will not stop until we tell the judges to shove it up their Obamaholes.
And back it up with force.
I don’t know why republicans don’t just staff poll workers with instruction to opine that the signatures of democrat voters don’t match and you need to see identification (do maybe one of every three voters where the poll worker doesn’t recognize the voter).
More lefty logic:
LOL
They could do like we have in Michigan. They must ask to see ID but you don’t have to show it. However you do leave a paper trail because if you don’t show an ID you have to sign an affidavit that you are who you say you are and that you’re voting legally.
And that’s about it. Every piece of good new or legislation we have heard in the last year has now been overturned by the courts.
Based on WHAT? The legislature decides voting laws, not the judiciary, unless there is an explicit violation of the PA constitution, such as excluding women or dwarfs.
Why? Don’t you have to get a picture id for your Driver’s License?
It’s an unreasonable burden on the voters because it’s too heavy to carry to the polling place. Right?
They should also have to show up in person and present ID to register in my opinion.
I have an idea. Maybe it would work, maybe not.
At each polling place, if a person does not have or want to show a picture ID, have a camera ready to take that person’s photograph, just like the driver’s license people do.
Once the picture is taken, have software that scans faces, like Google, and have a computer do a search for matches. It could be linked to mugshots in all states and territories to see if that person is a felon. It can also check to see if the person has a valid driver’s license in any state, just like the police do. It can also scan passport and ICE photos of legal aliens. This should not place a ‘burden’ on the voter. If they refuse, they don’t vote..............
the aristocracy class has deemed all acts by the aristocracy as legal and constitutional until someone bothers to scrape money together and go to court to fight them and maybe win.
The USSC should be pissed they are being ignored.
Think about all the things that require you to supply “positive ID”? Too numerous to count, right? No adult living in the USA can get through a calendar year without having to ID themselves at least a few times.
Now we have this judge’s ruling saying that providing ID is “onerous”. Really? I guess that means exercising voting rights is less important than all those other things that do require ID? Right? That’s in effect what they are saying.
