I explain socialism thusly: Suppose my sewer backs up and my basement is full of crap.
A capitalist calls a plumber and asks to have it repaired.
A socialist demands that everyone else plug up their sewers too, until they can all be fixed at once.
Then they demand that the plumber is a fault for plugging the sewer and confiscate his tools.
We are all then equal.
