HARRISBURG, Pa. - A state judge has struck down the law requiring Pennsylvania's voters to show photo identification at the polls.
Commonwealth Court Judge Bernard McGinley said the requirement that was the centerpiece of Pennsylvania's embattled 2012 voter identification law places an unreasonable burden on the fundamental right to vote.

This enables subversion of the election. Traitor!
Let me guess. Democrat appointment, right?
Gingrich said that a half of a dozen "scalps" would send a message to every activist judge. Impeach and remove.
I think there should be the same requirements for voting as for buying a gun. Identical.
Good grief. I guess, we’re going to need a constitutional amendment requiring a valid photo ID to vote.
You know, I often hesitate to support action in opposition to stuff like this, but when judges consistently overturn voters, they are pushing their part of the pie.
Judges, stop using your positions to over-rule laws.
Judges are elected in Pennsylvania, usually not appointed, unless it’s to fill a term.
So does a Concealed Carry Permit (ID) place to great a burden on the fundamental right to keep and bear arms? Seems like the exact same logic applies.
I surprised he doesn’t rule that it is unreasonably burdensome to make them fog a mirror...
The country has gone insane. It is a dead republic walking.
let it BE!
A DEMOCRAT judge, of course. These folks know no limits to their corruption. They must really be worried about the 2014 election.
PS - And I thought this had already been successfully litigated in Pennsylvania. I guess they will forever be finding new judges to come up with further decisions to delay.
Nail on the head post.
Where’s the burden? You go to your county seat, stand in line for two minutes, get your photo taken, and get handed a laminated card (hopefully with a bar code). It’s no more difficult than the actual process of voting itself! Sheesh.
“....places an unreasonable burden on the fundamental right to vote.”
But having to be carded for buying alcohol, tobacco, medication, aren’t “unreasonable burdens”. This is the dumbest excuse ever. Not that they can or would come up with a better reason.
THIS, imo, is the direct result in consulting with foreign law to establish American law.
How?
THEY speak Latin, and everything in law is described and explained in Latin, so that we must hire a foreiegn speaking person to translate a matter into English.
I can tell you right now that many people garble thoughts in the process of processing thoughts.
Case in point;
My wife is Filipina and throws away food that to her, is 'broke' ...
Bananas I allow to ripen for banana bread was thrown away because they were 'broke'

Looks like they elect them in PA. He should be voted out of office and recalled if possible. Hard to believe this idiot was elected in 1946. He must be a Democrat.
I hope the judge has his identity stolen.

This applies to the 2nd amendment too, right???
