Well written and expressed!
Hard for them to watch it. I would guess it would be very uncomfortable or just incomprehensible or boring
They have to make sense out of its popularity. But some can go through their whole lives without striving for a virtue that doesn’t come to them naturally
I'd like to take one of my daughters, but I don't know if she has the stomach for it. I don't think she could take "Private Ryan," for example. Do you think she could handle this?
Marxists hate anything that makes America look good.
Pray America is Waking
Just don't text during the previews.
I never do
It is a brutal and bloody film. It captures the essence of war in a way I've never witnessed. And it is not entertaining or exploitive. It is educational in that it attempts to recreate and bring you into the lives of these SEALs so you can now picture their sacrifice and brotherhood like never before. Private Ryan does come close in matching the battle scene brutalities. But in many ways, this film was more difficult to watch. So close in history and fresh on the memory might make it harder to view as well. Just things to keep in mind for the more squeamish.
excellent review !
Tell everyone you know to go see this movie
Thanks!
Perhaps. See it first
Private Ryan is not the same as this. Private Ryan, well, I’m the only one who despises it, is gratuitous and focuses on horror, and takes away from the important theme, virtue in action
Band of Brothers, we see regularly, and this movie is like that. The violence is just part of it. And it’s not about the sadness of death nor running away from it, but as part of their job, sad as it is
Just see it first
I’ve seen it twice, I’ll see it again tomorrow
So them losers, numbering over 100, got jacked up by 4 Americans
Pretty much proves it sucks if you aren’t American.
FOAD
“Battleship” was one of the supidest POC movies ever and I mustve watched it 10, 11 or 12 times
It sucked badly and I can’t figure why I like watching it.
L.A. Weekly:
“These four men were heroes. But these heroes were also men. As the film portrays them, their attitudes to the incredibly complex War on Terror, fought hillside by bloody hillside in the Afghan frontier with both U.S. and Taliban forces contributing to an unconscionably high civilian body count, were simple: Brown people bad, American people good.”
Sadly, I tried watching it but, passed out.
This operation, which doesn’t seem like it would be a big deal, has sacked me hard.
I’m gonna try again this weekend.
I didn’t even the popcorn
Mu friend said I sat down and zonked.
Because of the USS Missouri, that’s why!
“Lone Survivor” is being called a piece of “racist” and “jingoistic” war propaganda in certain quarters.
Of course it is. The question though is who gives a rats ass? I have never gone to see a movie or not gone to see a movie based on what “film critcs” said. There will always be a group that opposes any film that portrays the islamist as they really are......
Who gives a flying flip what the zipper-heads incapable of making a movie that tells the Truth as Lone Survivor does say about a movie that has told the Truth.Jealousy is a green eyed whore.
BOOM!!! SHAKA LAKA .... BOOM!!!
That thing is friggin awesome!!!
One day, when I have god money, I’m buy it, so I can play ....
Regressives are idiots, blinded by skin color. “Sand People” are Caucasian. Yep. People adapt to their region. Indians (from India) are also Caucasian. Caucasians come in alabaster to deep cocoa. Our cultures and religions are varied, according to our ancestry, usually. Tell all that to a Regressive. They refuse to accept hard science, even though they claim it as their “god”. It is fun to watch their veins pop when you confront them with these facts.
Regressives have made up a bunch of “races” that are ancestries- Mexican (Asian), Native American (Asian), Spanish (Caucasian)... Maybe they think they are gods? They are arrogant enough.

Bigelow was given the oscar for The Hurt Locker, because it was a woman’s “ time.” Zero Dark Thirty was so good it deserved the oscar.
