To: The Cajun

The phone switch box is in our yard. We’re usually very fast since we’re so close to it. Being rural anything else is unreliable.

I live out in the sticks myself and AT&T still uses copper wire where I live.
They haven't changed us to fiber optics yet, but the line is still good enough for their Uverse Internet service.
Their little sub-station *brick outhouse* is about a mile away from us.
