College tuition has gone up 60 percent in the last decade, but some enterprising coeds are finding financial aid in a creative way by landing a sugar daddy to the pay the bills. And students at Texas State University in San Marcos are right up there with the best of them.
Dating (and we use that term loosely) site SeekingArrangement.com recently examined the fastest growing sugar baby schools in the country, and Texas State came in at No. 10.
The average Texas student graduates with more than $24,000 in student debt, so the average $3,000 per month that a college sugar baby receives from her benefactor can go a long way to ensuring she comes out owing significantly less.
But Texas State students arent the only ones thinking creatively. The University of North Texas was No. 24 on the list, and the University of Texas at Austin ranked No. 30. UT Arlington and the University of Houston both registered in the top 75, as well. Nice job, Texas.

When I was younger, they were called whores.
It is probably a lot like Troy.
Troy started in 1887 as Troy Normal School, then Troy State Normal School, then Troy State Teachers College, Then Troy State University, then just Troy University.
I understand the College of Education is the largest one at Troy. That partly explains why both schools have a high percentage of babes.-
See #43 above. It isn’t the girls that have the channels now to offer. It’s that wishful older guys now have the channels to ask.
It’s a scam. It isn’t real. There are not hundreds of coeds out looking. Only thousands of guys wishing it were true. Each one paying their monthly membership to read “ads” created by fat, middle aged women that live in mobile homes outside Gary, Indiana.
It’s a mirage on the desert for guys past their prime.
Back then women knew the very real consequences of their actions. Men also had more respect for themselves than to marry them.
I once taught welfare moms how to look for work at the unemployment office as part of the welfare-to-work program. In many cases we would pay for technical/vocational school, community college or university. I tried to steer the smarter ones toward nursing home administrator, insurance or similar degrees and the perhaps not-so-bright towards CNA or maybe secretarial.
LOL! Took me a minute to get that.
I don’t know that the young men of today think of women in terms like “future wife” or “future mother” rather than as an opportunity for immediate sexual gratification.
As such, they may not care and won’t matter to them. Also, acquiring a college educated wife with a good job and no student loans of her own to repay means she can help you pay yours off faster.
They may be quite pragmatic about it.
Which is a huge laff, because those same “past their prime” guys could fly economy to Cebu, Bacolod, Jakarta or Saigon and be treated like a movie star.
lol
Uh, shouldn’t it be the other way around?
The next will be the whining and crying when they repeat the rewards of selling themselves to the highest bidder:
Here’s what I see:
Men dating complete tarts and for some reason, being defensive about them. I mean, the way men defend women like this is mind boggling.
As for pragmatism, why not look for someone who is baggage free and is less likely to be detached from intimacy and likelier to start taking a survivalist view and use the kids as a meal ticket to eighteen years of child support and taking the husband to the cleaners via alimony.
Men complain about that all the time, but go figure, they’re marrying the tarts.
Are they telling me “the worlds oldest profession” is something new?
Oh, to be a hand once again...:)
2nd, I think you are well aware I did exactly that, and there is no chance she will get Americanized. Sometimes, the biggest problem, is that they will get Americanized.
Slime in the ice machine!
Freepers rule, DUers drool - just sayin`
I wouldn’t bring her back here if I did it.
I had put it more delicately on a previous post a week ago, but a buddy of mine from Sweden went to Cuba for a vacation the other day. (Hej Per!)
He met a girl outside his hotel: beautiful, 24 years old, intelligent, well spoken, etc. Spent a week with her, and I mean spent a week with her.
Bought her dinners and gave her $400 before he left. She made 20 times more in a week than a heart surgeon’s monthly gov’t pay.
The difference is that the guys looking on the websites are likely married and can’t afford to get away. They are buying the fantasy, not the real thing.
